Why not Buy Tevez NOW. Then, wait until June to allow more teams to bid up for Pato, so we can get 35-40 Million for Him. Then, we can spend the difference from the purchase of Tevez on a Midfielder. Doesn't that make more sense. And still having Pato for UCL, if he can be healthy at all from now until June.

I've been trying to hold onto Flame's argument to keep Pato for so long now. I love Pato. His Goal vs. Barcelona was mesmerizing. I also think Hitman's analysis of Pato every game is so biased and over-exaggerated. However, the injury part (more than his lack of quality or effort in games) is what bothers me.

I will officially say I'd probably cash in, but for the right price and only in June as it makes more sense tactically and financially. Big decisions should be made in June. Especially if Tevez comes here and fails or acts up, or Cassano never ever recovers (knock on wood). This way in June, we can make the decision with a clear head and understanding of the overall situation.

I hear you, but it looks like Tevez is about to sign for PSG imminently.

I think we made big fools of ourselves in this market, and the blunders had an impact on the derby too.

I don't know why you are so happy. (Well, I do. Big Grin but I would still regret if we missed out on Tevez.)

Tevez rejected 11m/season and said money is not an issue for him.

Wish I could have seen the excitement on your face when you thought he was leaving to Paris Devilol

fLame, you should be ashamed of yourself for this filthy attitude you bring here...

Boban: everytime I make a post about Pato I back it up with new evidence, how am I crossing the line? I am trying to easen up the thick heads of certain people who are still too blind to see (actually even blind people can probably see how useless Pato is by now), it's definitely a sentimental issue if someone choses not to get rid of Pato anymore.

Hitmann I agree with everything you say..but why get rid of him NOW? We could hardly get a player of his calibre who could play in the CL. If he doesn't improve by summer time then I'm all for selling him and using the money to reinforce the rest of the team..but just now right now. I agree with everything else you say though. He's playing badly..and has been for quite some time now. As much as I want him to be able to grow into the 30 goals-a-season player we want him to..I just don't see it happening anymore.

No I did not say that, I said even if you crossed the line, he is prohibited to say such language.

On another note, Hitman, if you explain it 100 times and the people won't accept, how could you expect that with explaining it 101 times they will? We all here already know how you think about Pato, I don't know about others but everytime I read your post I took little attention and just thinking "oh. the usual.", it was not even intentional, I swear. So to make things clear, I never want and never will ask you to stop doing that, I just want to give some perspective. Your arguments are always the same, people replying with same counter arguments and you never reply or take too little attention. You said A, people said B, and then you repeating A again, ignoring B.

LOL look who's talking.

Like others said, if you take it easy with your spam, stop swearing, and acting like mr. know-it-all, I might take you semi-seriously. Okmilan
show some humility.

I don't know how you communicate in your circles, but in this universe, "fucking annoying", "dipshit" doesn't qualify as evidence.

You are like the 10th person to bring this to his attention, but he seems notoriously good at spamming his one single "opinion", and notoriously bad at reading other people's thoughts.

boban: If I repeated A again after they gave B, it was because answer B was too stupid that they ignored to answer A... I have always argued with facts, every single time...and when someone raises a question, I respond back. I chose to ignore when people keep saying I'm biased, when it is them who are biased towards him. The difference is that no one here chooses to criticize him (only on this forum by the way, if you look at the other forums online, he's being roasted), which is wrong.. how can we improve on our weaknesses if we don't recognize them?

Mystik: I was totally against Pato's sale in January by the way, but if it had meant we needed to sell Pato to get Tevez, then I would have approved it - (think we have SES, Pippo and possibly a third striker incoming that could all replace Pato on the CL list). But as of now, it looks like that 27m offer won't be coming again anytime soon because of his latest injury... his value is dropping very fast... once he was rated 40-50m.... and keep in mind that he's coming back after 1 month of injury, then he's going to use the excuse of 'just coming back from an injury' for 1 more month to find his form then play one good game, and he'll get injured again.

Guys, quit it. Both of you. You're both playing this very personal.

First of all, words like dipshit, fucker,... do not belong on a forum that is about a common interest. We're here to discuss our team and football in general, not to call each other names. If you have issues with one person you take it to this person in question instead of bothering everyone with it.

Second, not everyone has the same level of English. Some people do have issues with basic grammar and spelling. As some people originate from countries where English is taught in schools we cannot expect them to be use it without any issues.

A forum is about open communication, discussion. No one is forced to accept point of views they do not believe in. We should try and keep it as constructive as possible without playing the personal card, calling each other bad names and taking aim at one's defaults.

You are all free to report posts using the report button. Now let's focus on Pato again.
