Why not Buy Tevez NOW. Then, wait until June to allow more teams to bid up for Pato, so we can get 35-40 Million for Him. Then, we can spend the difference from the purchase of Tevez on a Midfielder. Doesn't that make more sense. And still having Pato for UCL, if he can be healthy at all from now until June.

I've been trying to hold onto Flame's argument to keep Pato for so long now. I love Pato. His Goal vs. Barcelona was mesmerizing. I also think Hitman's analysis of Pato every game is so biased and over-exaggerated. However, the injury part (more than his lack of quality or effort in games) is what bothers me.

I will officially say I'd probably cash in, but for the right price and only in June as it makes more sense tactically and financially. Big decisions should be made in June. Especially if Tevez comes here and fails or acts up, or Cassano never ever recovers (knock on wood). This way in June, we can make the decision with a clear head and understanding of the overall situation.

Hitmann I agree with everything you say..but why get rid of him NOW? We could hardly get a player of his calibre who could play in the CL. If he doesn't improve by summer time then I'm all for selling him and using the money to reinforce the rest of the team..but just now right now. I agree with everything else you say though. He's playing badly..and has been for quite some time now. As much as I want him to be able to grow into the 30 goals-a-season player we want him to..I just don't see it happening anymore.

On another note, Hitman, if you explain it 100 times and the people won't accept, how could you expect that with explaining it 101 times they will? Mystik: I was totally against Pato's sale in January by the way, but if it had meant we needed to sell Pato to get Tevez, then I would have approved it - (think we have SES, Pippo and possibly a third striker incoming that could all replace Pato on the CL list). But as of now, it looks like that 27m offer won't be coming again anytime soon because of his latest injury... his value is dropping very fast... once he was rated 40-50m.... and keep in mind that he's coming back after 1 month of injury, then he's going to use the excuse of 'just coming back from an injury' for 1 more month to find his form then play one good game, and he'll get injured again.

First of all, words like dipshit, fucker,... do not belong on a forum that is about a common interest. We're here to discuss our team and football in general, not to call each other names. If you have issues with one person you take it to this person in question instead of bothering everyone with it.

Second, not everyone has the same level of English. Some people do have issues with basic grammar and spelling. As some people originate from countries where English is taught in schools we cannot expect them to be use it without any issues.

A forum is about open communication, discussion. No one is forced to accept point of views they do not believe in. We should try and keep it as constructive as possible without playing the personal card, calling each other bad names and taking aim at one's defaults.
