Summer Mercato 2011
Fossati doesn't really play like Pirlo, but only he plays in that position. The closest player I seen to Pirlo (but he is faster) is Fabbrini, I think he plays for Empoli. He's the star of Italy U-21.

Thomas Benedetto (Roma's new president) - most people are not sure whether he will invest like crazy or will be there to invest slowly. It is still unknown whether he is very rich or not - but I know for sure that Roma took very careful planning in picking out a new owner so I guess he has to be good somewhat. I think Pirlo will renew with Milan - 80% likely. Maybe he'd fancy a move to Chelsea if Carlo is still there, maybe he'd like to play for Barca (he won't start though) for the last part of his career. I think Seedorf and Janku are leaving for sure.. I would hope that Ambro would leave too and we renew MvB, Pirlo, Inzaghi and Nesta's contracts - for one year each. That way we will not be screwed with wages for a long period - and it will allow us to even deduce their wages even further next year if we want them to stay.

Meanwhile, rumors are saying that Mino Raiola's presence in Brazil right now could be trying to mastermind a plan for Ganso (other rumors saying he's also working on Lucas - personally I like Lucas' style alot more and he's a very humble kid unlike Ganso). Ofcourse another reason could be Raiola is out there doing his own job - scouting young players and being their agent.

Reports keep saying ( mostly interwiews on milannews with some people within milan's history etc. ) that Berlusconi will invest futrher next summer. Its also known that Ibra keeps saying how Milan will go for everything next year...

That is why Im just keeping my frigers crossed that we catch this scudetto somehow, more precisely that we keep our heard together in the next 3 games and not to loose the derby... Inter had a wider squad, and Milan is few players away from that. We were saved by Benitez this year, but next one we'll have to be ready with a better team.

Im satisfied with Bosingwa rumors, as he can be extremly usefull player for us for a free deal, as will be MExes. Also if Milan is to invest into a decent LB like Cissokho, we will be more then fine at the back, we'll be GREAT at the back.

Im satisfied with the way Abate has started to use his head this year, he has improved his game drastically, specially in defensive positioning, which is the most important thing. Defence od NEsta, Thiago, Mexes, LB, Abate, Bosingwa, Yepes etc is good enough. There is no room for players like Oddo, Bonera, Marek, Antonini... in AC Milan.

Emanuelson is a good squad player, who WILL adopt and develop further. MvB is an underrated player who is actually a great DM, and has shown it already. Two high profile aquisitions are needed i midfield, and we will be ready. One classical CAM, and one classical CM that is TECHNICAL.

Cissokho/Coentrao, Bosingwa, Mexes, Ganso and one CM(plus Merkel in rotation ). And we are top team.

I think we should definitely look into Bosingwa, free? he's a great player..
agree with all the names you brought up marcello.. Except for ganso, the price were goin to be paying for him will definitely be absurd, if they can work up another case of magic like that of ibra and binho then let it be but 40-50mlns is not worth it for a young talent yet to prove anything outside of Brazil. we could buy an already proven CAM with that money or even a cf would work in the role, someone like cassano (tevez for example) would probably cost no more then 40mill. I'd like to see the following reinforcements this summer:
Mexes,Cissokho,Bosingwa,Banega,Di Vaio,Jucilei
Galliani said about Ganso's fee that was high but certainly negotiable.

we need a LEFT BACK too, let's not forget that Jankulovski playing there is not an OPTION going further.. we need Coentrao or a player of the like...

Inter have Nagatomo scoring, Chivu, Santon, and we have Janku, Bonera, & Antonini..NO GOOD

when did he say that? does that mean that we are still in the race? I thought after Ganso publicly expressed his man-love to Leonardo, the hope is all gone already. Grinser044DevilsmokeConfusedAllesmoegliche036Inter5ow1ban
Our old friend Raiola said that it was almost sure that Ibra would leave Milan in one or two years, the decision year will be 2012 depending on his results. He added that Ibra would still move 3 times before the end of his career ... Does Raoila need money ? Big Grin

He said that for sure next year Ibra will play for Milan. That is important for us coz of the building of the squad. After that, he can leave if he wants to.

Didn't Ibra himself said two or three days ago that Milan is likely to be his club and he'll quit at the age 33?

Anyway, todays players' words shouldn't be taken seriously IMO, let alone their agents.

Oh Galliani said he'd welcome Kaka back if the latter is willing to take a huge pay cut since we can only afford one player of such salary and that's Ibra. Hmm based on our experiences in the past, I really doubt Leite, Sr will think of the idea favorably Devilf

Raiola already denied the quote ... saying he was misunderstood.
What he wanted to say is that Ibra wants to stay and not only for one or two years, right now, he wants to stay until the end of his contract, but while Ibra thinks he should maybe end his career then, Raoila thinks Ibra could still move once or twice before ending his career.

I thought it weird when I read Ibra saying he didn't want to become a "bandiera" (fan favourite staying in the same club for years/forever).
