Hakan is trash, we all knew that. He will have his good match every once in a blue moon and then is just a trash player who runs a lot. F*ck him, that's all I have to say lol

I was keeping a close eye on that game throughout the entire first half, but not watching. Inter played like shit and should have gone down by more. I was debating if I should watch the second half, fully aware of my ability to mess it up (seriously, I was thinking that ![]() Still, you would think that a header from that far away should not have gone in. The goalkeeper should have first moved a small step closer before stretching his body to the air. He misjudged the trajectory.

Agree. GK should have done better. He looked totally unprepared. And yes, i guess i'll blame you!
![]() Anyway, for some reason thought I posted that in the Serie A thread, but I guess not. My bad. Back to the mercato i guess... Big links today with Faivre. I have never watched him play. I have heard of him just as a name though. Looks very promising and in line with exactly what we need. Bakayoko arriving tomorrow. Then we'll just see what happens with Kessie and potentially Yacine Adli (I'm thinking he'll only arrive if Kessie leaves).

Is anyone else concerned we have heard NOTHING about Romagnoli this window?

On another note, while Merda did sell some big names I still see them favourites this term.... Correa from Lazio was a player I really liked. If they keep Martinez that is an insanely dynamic duo but not sure they'd play together same time, it's a very dangerous unpredictable attack. Both of them can dribble, score and assist with equal capability. You gotta admire that mutant Marotta, the guy knows what the f he's doing better than anyone out there.

At the end of last season - with Suning issues or not - I didn't expect Inter to be weakened this summer so from an expectation standpoint I am 'ready' for a good Inter team. Also Napoli, Roma and Lazio I didn't have weaker expectations but ..... Juve with a proper coach is different, how Atalanta evolve too.

I agree that Inter are likely still the favorites. We'll see, but they did a good job (amongst all that financial chaos) selling and replacing. No, the replacements are not as good as Lukaku and Hakimi...but they nevertheless completed the team and gave their coach exactly what he wants/needs to play his football.
Time will tell, but Lautaro, J.Correa and Dzeko up front is not bad at all. Dumfries is not Hakimi, but he is definitely a good player and fits their scheme. So yes, I think they are the team to beat. Although Napoli definitely also got an upgrade with Spalletti and their squad was always good (not the problem). While Merda lost Lukaku & Juve lost Ronaldo I do think Serie A this season is a much more competitive league. Roma under Mourinho looks like a wild card team this season that I can almost guarantee will cause some upsets. Napoli will be there too, although I see them regressing year over year lately. Lazio has definitely strengthened although losing Correa was a blow, they had a lot of weak spots last season that they seem to have filled with that sale. Hysaj/Felipe Anderson back/ signing Pedro and Luka Romero. They'll be well rounded and a more difficult side to deal with. Last and most importantly MILAN , I think we've done well so far. Bakayoko was a good addition esp. for depth and I know he'll perform his behind off for the team. He adds a reliable fall back option. Yoko,Kessie,Bennacer & Tonali with Krunic lingering around is a very good and depth midfield. Ibra, Giroud, Pellegri and the option of Rebic for striker is excellent. The remaining question is definitely something in attack for the wing or trequartista, whatever it is we need to act ASAP. I'm getting worried because we are lacking there and it's painfully obvious. I know Maldini&co know this, so hopefully they've got an ace up their sleeves.

I don't see Inter as favourites. They could of been 3-0, 3-1 down against Verona. Could of been a very different story. Correa is massive for them and Dumfries will be good.
I see Juve as favourites especially now CR has left. With a proper coach, Dybala gets off the leash and it seems like either Kean , Icardi or Vlahovic ( based on media) in. The good news for us is we've stregnthed but neither Lazio or Napoli have. On paper we're top 3 with potentially Roma first chasing us all. |
