If Kessie was fair, this should have been resolved in May. If the club's offer could not get close to the demand, then Kessie should have been clear with the club and told them he's leaving. There is only one reason he didn't do that. That's because he knows that leaving for free automatically gets him 1-2M more in salary as his new club would not have to pay a transfer fee.
Now if that's not a greedy ass move and a fuked up way to treat your club, then I don't know what is.

And we have some fans here that would still play him if he doesn't sign because "we'd have a better team on the field and we need him". Screw that! We'll be fine without him. This is the time to prove a point and let everyone know what happens if they pull this shit. They'll be frozen out!

With Mbappe looking more likely to move to Real, maybe we can ask for a loan for Rodrygo. He needs game time to develop and Real is stacked at the winger positions even without Mbappe.

I am not sure if all is lost. We lost our ground for 5M per year thats for sure. Lets wait for this mercato to be over. I guess we will end up paying more than we planned if an agreement will be reached.

It is a crappy move by him. But you do have to play him if he is best in his role. The bettter the club does the easier it will be to replace him. Think about how terrible it would be to miss out on CL next season. You also deny him AFCON for COVID reasons and make him play frequently in the 88’ as a sub. All that garbage.

Only Maldini and them know the full details. But if he ends up walking free that is very bad management. Also we don’t talk about it but same with Romagnoli. He is a legit good player. We should try to resign him. Instead I’m pretty sure he will walk to Juve which is horrible. Why we don’t hear about his contract or haven’t sold him this summer is truly beyond me. I think 20-25M , but other clubs in this situation would demand 40-50M so I hope we do too.
