It's not necessarily about solving our RW problems. Just taking small steps.
If we sign this guy on the cheap. one of 3 things happens.
He is shit in which case we lose a small figure paid for him (absolute worst case)
He's decent - Either enough to play backup or not enough to be worth keeping so we sell him off and make a capital gain - eg. Bought for 1m - sold for 5-10m
He explodes and we either have a quality and coming RW that we can keep or sell off at a large profit.
Assuming the majority of the kids we sign will end up in the middle bracket then we keep making some money which can be reinvested into the market and don't have to worry about picking up players like Meite and Krunic because we'll have some good youngsters to play backup.

It really depends on the current market, whether anyone is willing to shell out some money to get him this summer instead of next, where there will be more competition because of the free transfer.
I'm actually optimistic we'll get somebody decent for the CAM position. I'm not buying the Vlasic operation right now, it's just too much smoke. But, the quietness on Luis Alberto and Sabitzer is pretty encouraging actually. Just like the LB from Monaco, it seems to be Maldini's mo to operate really behind the scene.
Meanwhile, sempremilan is reporting that the loan with option to buy agreement regarding Brahim Diaz could be changed, due to tax issues. No idea what tax issues could there be for a loan/option transfer?
Guys, am I wrong or is Sabitzer more of CM than AM?!!
No ho visto Superman volare, ma ho visto Super Pippo segnare. I supereroi esistono davvero.

Young kid, getting used to playing with Adults, or getting thrown in in the wrong games or wrong position.
The fact we're looking at him(assuming the reports are true) fills me with confidence. we've done quite well of late identifying quality youngsters. just takes time to get the best out of them. Hopefully we'll see more of some of them this season.(knowing Pioli, it won't happen)
No, stats don't always tell the full picture but you would think he might be a bit more prominent in Ligue 2.
But, like you said, looking at him is promising.
One of my friends from Brazil says Kaio Jorge is probably more like Roberto Firmino but apparently his heading is atrocious. He hopes Kaio is at Milan soon.
Milan have sorely missed a bit of samba these past few years . It would be great to get some back.

yeah. Supply and demand. if everyone is willing to pay 20m for him now then he's worth 20m.
The problem is I suspect he's plan B. but if we don't move our ass we'll potentially miss out on plan B while then missing out on Plan A and having to make do with plan C

Sabitzer is like 10x Hakan. If Hakan can do it, Sabitzer can do it better.

45m but the offer is a straight swap with Leao. Now Leao is worth 45m, good job for Maldini.

He is 17 years old... It's not like he's expected to come in and hand us the CL trophy. He might not even be part of our first team squad the first couple of seasons.

Well for 2M you would expect Bondo in the first team, even as a squad player which is fine.
We paid 1.1M for Roback I think and he did some training with the first team. I have heard a lot of mixed reports about Roback. We'll see with Roback and if we get Bondo as well.
