Summer mercato 2021
I am no insider but I am calling BS on the Tadic rumor. He is the wrong fit in almost every aspect from the profile we usually look for under this management. He is old, unproven (at least in Serie A level) and expensive (wage and transfer fee). Maldini has a history of not going after players like that. If Tadic was available for free, then I could see it, but Ajax sees him as a cornerstone player on the team, so there is no way they give him away for nothing.
what if we can get kaio for 4-5m ? i think that would be fair price for him

Don't know how credible this news is, but this would be absolutely HILARIOUS! If there is anyone from Barca that we want to sign, like a Coutinho, we definitely won't have to pay any transfer fees. Barca would be so desperate to get rid of their salary (even if only a portion of it), they would probably give away everyone for free.

Done deal and confirmed! Sandro #Tonali returns to #ACMilan on a permanent deal. #Milan will pay €7M + 5M as bonuses (3 simple and 2 more complicated) + #Olzer (evaluated €3M) to #Brescia. Contract until 2025. Tonali will be at Milanello on Thursday.

I suppose this means Olzer is permanent transfer(?)

? Milan have the option to buy back Giacomo Olzer from Brescia after he was included in the deal for Tonali

Looks like a buy back is included

It also gives me cautious optimism with regards to our future project as I was saying above. I think a good project always starts with a good coach who has a clear vision, a real system and tactics that require specific players. Pioli does not strike me as a tactician or someone who will get us lifting CL but I could be proven wrong. Let's see.

Also no thank you on Kaio

Kudos to Maldini & co meanwhile as getting Tonali for this price was good business. I'm not sure how good Olzer was but we can scout someone else with promise for our youth team to replace him.

Maybe I'm being pessimistic but I've already got in my head that Pioli WILL get sacked mid season and Sheva will come in to replace him with his Italian bench.

Depending on the price I'd consider Kaio but may be better to get him sooner rather to avoid a wage war and loan him to another Serie A team so that he gets proper game time and gets used to the Serie A. rather than being stuck on the bench all season.

No matter what you think of Tonali. 22m plus Olzer for Tonali is a good deal.

Good. He looked quality in the juniors but there's no guarantee that he'll be able to reproduce it in senior football. This way he gets given the space to grow and we have a buy back if it looks like he's proving to be a proper talent
Guys, I can guarantee you 100% that there is little to no truth to these rumors that we are reading in daily basis. When there are such a big tournaments going on, clubs and agents are focus largely on the tournament. This kind of competition can make or break a player that is why we see most of the transactions happening after the tournament is over. Especially for Milan, rumors have been all over the place, while Maldini has been very concrete since he took over.
No ho visto Superman volare, ma ho visto Super Pippo segnare. I supereroi esistono davvero.
Di Marzio:

"Last year Milan paid a €10m loan fee and as part of that a €15m option to buy and €10m in further bonuses was agreed. However, yesterday the agreement for the permanent signing of the midfielder was reached for a bonus of €7m plus €3m in bonuses.

Brescia president Massimo Cellino is so superstitious though that he demanded that the figure be €6,999,000 and not €7m so that the deal (when including loan) is not €17m, as he considers 17 an unlucky number. Furthermore, Tonali will not sign tomorrow, but will sign on Wednesday because Cellino again considers Tuesday to be an unlucky day."

The Milan has now finalized the renewal of Sandro Tonali and wants to take two specialists in the final third, provided that the attacker remains Giroud 's first choice. The dream for the right wing is Berardi , at the moment there are no negotiations but we will see later.
On Tadic , Ajax explained, they believe he cannot be sold. There is a strong approval for Sabitzer , considered technical, modern and universal, one more year of contract with Leipzig. In the dialogue with Real, the speeches for Ceballos can be deepened .

And Kamara Moncada, in charge of the observers, really likes it, and it would be the best way to manage the waiting times related to Kessie and the expiring contract. We remember that Kamara is on the list of a couple of English clubs and that Lazio also like it .

Sabitzer is the player to get for the AMC in our team. He can defend and attack, able to create and score himself, exactly the kind of player we need.

I don't know how Maldini manage to get Tonali on such a good deal. Maldini must be practising some voodoo or something.

Not to mention Hauge and Tonali that just haven't had the time yet. Let's face it. If it wasn't for injuries then Tonali wouldn't have had the time that he did. Same with Diaz actually.
Injuries was literally the only reason Hauge got any game time at all.
I would also add that those guys got plenty of game time on the pitch and we were patient with them. meanwhile the other mentioned seem to need results or they get dropped the next game with Leao being the exception being played as a loan striker often when it's been proven time and time again he does significantly better on the wing.

Hauge is 3rd choice so I don't see how he is going to get much game time. Pioli is the kind of coach that try to play the players in their best positions unless he got no choice. He is not going to try Hauge in another position. I don't mind us keeping hauge if we sold Leao but one of them got to go so that we have the funds. We really need money to improve many areas of the team. We don't even have a good backup for some positions and we got 3 options for LW.

That's part of the problem. Leao and Rebic were here already when we signed Hauge. Multiple managements don't think and seems don't do proper scouting before signing players. 'Good games/season before joining us' is enough it seems.
