La Liga
If this is true, it is absolutely insane. I don't know. Barca is a big organization. To post their financial statements openly every year. Obviously the payroll won't be detailed in there and it will be summarized, so you'll never really know who's making what. But it's crazy that it's taken this long for this to come out. Maybe the club finally "fed" the details to the papers to make the fans aware and say "look at what we've given him and yet he still shits on us".

Anyway, as I said...if this is true, whoever signed those docjments needs to be fired from there asap. That's just insane.

I didn't realize Barca published their financial statements. Anyway, I took a look at it ... and man, they're actually pretty healthy financially. I dunno why the articles I read stated they're in trouble.

Anyway, from the data, if it's true that's Messi's real salaries ... his basic salaries alone account for about 25% of Barca's total salaries. And that includes their other sports teams like Basketball, youth football, women's football, etc.

If that's really Messi's salary, why didn't they let him go? He didn't want to stay and evidentially , Barca would be better without him. They could almost rebuild the team for that amount!
