Did anyone read what Mirabelli said a few days about how it happened when Donnarumma signed his current contract? According to him, Raiola and Donnarumma had a meeting with Mirabelli and were presented with Milan's final offer. Raiola didn't accept it and said the negotiations were over, Donnarumma was leaving Milan. He then got up and left the room. And once he was gone, Gigio grabbed the pen and signed the contract.

If that is true, then Donnarumma really needs to learn how to stand up to his agent. That is absolutely ridiculous.

I've come to grips with whatever happens in that situation. Clearly, no matter what anyone's opinion is.....there is an issue. There is something stopping this deal from happening. Raiola, Donnarumma, money, contract length, CL...you name it. But it's not normal that we've been talking about this renewal for so long, we are now 3 months away from expiration, and it's still not signed.

Well, a player wanting CL before signing is not something I would accept, don't care which player it is. We accept that no CL limits our budget and the ability to sign but existing players wanting CL guarantee should be kicked out. This gets me to my thought that Raiola is taking advantage of Maldini, who is classy, polite and Raiola thinks he can get away with being a snake in negotiations.

Bernardeschi on his A game is a top top player. Problem is he's lazy af whenever I've watched him. He either looks world class or utter garbage.

On a side note, Romagnoli should hold a bit more stock than Bernardeschi. I think there needs to be more to the swap than just a direct player for player, or else we've been ripped off.

With Chiesa at Juve the way he's playing, he'll never even see the field. Now that was a gem we should've done all we could to sign. I said it a while back and got a lot of stick but I'll say it again, he's in the realm of M'Bappe and the likes for being future ballon D'or quality. Not the player who scores the most goals or most assists, but the player who always makes a difference whether it's with his endless work rate, his ability to open up space and make something out of the tightest of games/spaces or just dominating a match like he did against us. Sort of like a Kaka, not in the style of play but the effectiveness they have on the pitch without being the top scorer nor top assist man.

Anyway, we'll have to find our own Chiesa - not Bernardeschi's.
