That would need to be an essay. Big Grin

What I can think of right now off the top of my head: the revenue would come in the forms of tickets, jerseys, TV deals, competition prizes, sponsorship, (anything else?). I suppose that one can look up their annual reports. I have some working knowledge of that, but never could be bothered to do a thorough research. Wink

That's why many clubs are in debt, when they don't have enough revenue to cover their expenses. Big Grin

(ANSA) - MILAN, JULY 30 - The postponement of the start of the Serie A championship, currently scheduled for September 12, "is a hypothesis that exists, if I don't know for a week or two". Lega Serie A president Paolo Dal Pino said this, announcing that the date will be "defined exactly at a meeting next Monday", on the eve of the Football Association Council. "In theory it's the 12th but we are trying to see how we can make up more time because the calendar is very tight in this way - he added -. We hope to gain a little more time to rest the teams." (HANDLE)

So this confirms, that as of rught now, the next season is set to beginon September 12th. But as you can see, this can be delayed by a week or two.

I would actually prefer this, because it would mean that all serie A sides will have to begin pre-season at the same time...rather then Milan starting early due to EL Qualifications.
