I do believe Merkel has the talent to make it at Milan, hopefully he'll get a lot of games this season at genoa and he will be ready for us next season or the year after. I'm sure Galliani will take him back!

Obviously he had another good game against Roma (at least that was the impression I picked up from youtube, lol
 ). He had a shot that went slightly wide, and at 89th minute, he assisted the winning goal for Kucka. If he keeps playing this well, we are going to have to pay a lot more to get him back. Damn.

It's nice to finally see something come out of our youth teams. Galliani should continue with his youngster acquisition policy.

i watched whole game vs Roma tonight. Merkel worked hard, run all over the pitch like crazy, he was everywhere, i like Merkel because of this. He pressed well.
He is definitely better than last year on his weak points such as defending, strength and tackling...(He must be much better than this) He had some shoots with left foot and right. Some nice deep passes.(though some of them went to Roma's, because Palacio was alone among Roma's. Genoa defended too much this game, tried to kill Roma on counters, however they did it. He assisted Genoa's winner Goal tonight. He played 3 games and already has 2 assits... TMW gave him a 6.5 rating(they cut his half rating because of Roma's goal cuz Merkel bad pass caused Roma's attack and Roma scored thanks to Bovo's error) Genoa fans call him as Eduardo 2011-2012... Canale Genoa gave him a 7. i like German players's work ethic, they give their all on the pitch. Merkel needs more experience, more confidence, improve much more...

Great game today by him, though not given much time. Genoa almost got the equalizer thanks to him. He also showed much more confidence than last season.
He deserves a place in Milan, and I heard rumor that we wanted to get him back from loan in the winter but was rejected.  Next season then, please.

He was very impressive yesterday and has been all season. I think he will return to Milan soon (maybe next summer), I can't see us letting him go for long.
