Milan to leave San Siro
Milan and Inter are planning to submit an official request for the new stadium by the end of June. The stadium is expected to cost around €700m and is slated to be ready by the 2022-23 season. [@repubblica] https://t.co/n0mezHZO78

Not having a separate stadium will hurt in the long run. I wish they would reconsider this

I don't know why 2 stadiums is not considered. London has almost more than 10 stadium that have capacity of more than 20,000 but that f*cing mayor does not approving Facepalm

Milan and Inter management *do want* to share a stadium, that's worse than what the mayor does or does not approve.

Milan’s mayor has warned the Rossoneri and Inter that the council owns San Siro and intends to keep it open until 2026, ‘end of story’.

That's nice of them... they'll have a huge stadium just sitting there doing nothing for 4 years. The council are idiots.
They could have negotiated with one of the teams to stay and the other to get their own. Instead they're playing hardball and ultimately losing out.

This is a fucking joke

Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala is “very much in favour” of Atalanta playing their Champions League home fixtures at San Siro.

Quote:Milan and Inter have officially submitted joint-plans for a new, 60,000-seater stadium to replace San Siro. Approx. 60.000 seats, in the area adjacent to the existing Meazza. All investments will be carried out by AC Milan and FC Internazionale, who in exchange will receive a 90-years' surface right. This right is expected to be assigned through a public tender for which the Clubs, as promoters, will retain a right to match.
