I'm not against players smoking or partying but that's the price of being famous.

To be fair. The article says Balotelli is 1st choice and Crouch would be the alternative if we don't get him.

You need to learn some math mate Devilol If a 30 y.o Eto is worth 30 million, then a 35 y.o. Seedorf is worth 35 millions. Devilol

Ah sorry, didn't really read the whole article. That doesn't make the papers right though. Tongue

These stupid clubs like Anzhi is exactly what we need to rejuvenate our squad. If we sell Gattuso, Seedorf for more than 15m each, then we will already be able to buy better replacements, without even adding any money.

How our midfield would look in terms of creativity if we sold Seedorf now?

Since we failed to bring in any quality midfielders so far this summer, I'm against the sale of Seedorf, especially because there's no guarantee that his fee would be invested in another player.

For example, we lost Pirlo to Juve this summer, and that didn't force our management to sign a replacement, so why Seedorf's departure would have different effects?
First off, Alex was close to us a few yrs back, back when Carlo was still in charge.
Secondly, if some club is willing to offer 10+mil for a 35 yrs old who only plays once a month, that's a great deal. I think Galli missed a great chance to cash in on Gattuso earlier this summer, and he really should not miss the chance this time.
Now, if that is to happen, Milan should get Merkel back right away.
Then loan, pay or whatever, Kaka must come back.
At the end, Milan will probably win Serie A but won't go far in CL, then again, not like they will go far will Slowdorf anyway.

Let me ask you this, would you preferred to sell Kaká, if you knew that his fee would not be invested into another player?

What I care about is not how much would someone give for Seedorf (anyway where did this 10+ million came from), but that we have a competitive team. In my opinion, our team is more competitive with Seedorf, compared to Merkel or any other player we seem to have a realistic (!) chance to sign.

Even if we sign Aquilani (who seem to be the only realistic target at the moment), I would prefer to keep Seedorf.

I'm not a financial expert, I just want my team to be as competitive as possible.
