Did ye watch Barca vs Real ? unless we ah screw it we could of signed one of Pastore /Fabregas and one of Monty/Aqua and still not be on that level.Barca are amazing to watch , and Real play at such a high tempo high pressure game its great watching them as a fan of football..
I hate harping on but as of now our mid starting is Rino/V.Bommel/Seedorf combined 102...it isn't going do anything in CL , it will in Serie A as the league is weak outside of 6 or 7 teams and Milan should win almost all games home and Away the parked bus tactic is a pain but we break it down well.
The midfield is too slow and we'll prob end up with Aqualani which will make no difference as he'll either be injured or Allegri will fast figure out Seedorf is still better and we are back to square one.
If we do not have money to spend then Montolivio/Aquailani and a great deal for Kaka(galliani can pull it off) should be our objective. I am not a man of the past and I hate to go back to Kaka, but at this moment he is better AM than anybody who we realistically can get. Maybe a loan deal until January or June when we can go for Ganso.

my god Kaka has been so so bad since his last season at Milan...after watching all Reals preseason games he seems to be just as bad... I dont understand how ppl think he's looking in better form now? He's really really bad... definitely not what we need..

Really was he really that bad?!!! Cuz every Real fan is cursing Mourinho for not giving him a deserved chance..

How about Christian Eriksen of Ajax?
This guy has great ball control. He keeps his center of gravity low so that he can change direction quickly. That also means his body is perfectly balanced (not like El Shaarawy). And he is two-footed.
He looked good against Galaxy but thats equivalent to looking good against against a Serie B team top half Serie B but a B team nontheless.
He isn't still faster 75% of player's like some said , he finds it hard to finish 90 mins.He isn't like Zidane where speed doesn't matter he is not that technically gifted , speed was 50% of his game and its halved and thats being kind.
You can see him in games with his hands on his knees bend over a fair bit.Sure he'd be better than most of our midfield but thats the problem our midfield as a whole isn't good.Taking Kaka now is like choosing a 4 day out of date apple as opposed to a 6 day out of date apple. Its not going to let us compete with Barca Real Bayern Chelsea Man Utd , hell i still think we'll find it hugely testing and I mean hugely against Porto Lyon City Arsenal Schalke and maybe Dortmund and Villareal.

I did and though there were too many playacting for my liking it was still an even and good game. Madrid played in 5th gear and despite not at their best Barca showed their players could score out of nothing. To think that they have Cesc, Thiago (what a promising talent), Pedro (a more straight forward and less showy than Alexis IMO) and Afellay on the bench makes our midfielder look like Salieri and they're Mozart.
Madrid is no different with Coentrao (it's interesting to see where Mou will put him: left back or winger), Sahin (another promising prospect from Germany), and Kaka (I find it difficult to imagine him playing at such high tempo) on the bench.
There they are spending 40M for someone to warm the bench while our beloved Yellow Tie squeezing out the dried oranges in a trash can for another extra 2-3 M to buy an overrated, permacrocked midfielder
It speaks volume about their depth when even the "left-overs" from their starting line-ups like Afellay, Sahin, or Kaka could effortlessly become starters for us.

I remember something about Milan interested in him, but I think he prefers to stay at Ajax at the moment. He reportedly turned down ManCity some weeks ago.
He seems to be an interesting player btw.

Salieri - Mozart... That fits the situation very well, nice
About Coentrao, I think he will be some sort of Jolly Joker for Mourinho.

Allegri hopes Cassano stays, but he outlined that the decision is in the player's hand.
http://www.goal.com/en/news/10/italy/201...-ac-milans
Quote:"I am confident that he will stay put and the club shares my view on Antonio's future. Nevertheless, he is the one who decides whether he stays here to fight for his place in the team and play in a team that fights for silverware," Allegri was quoted as saying by Il Corriere dello Sport.
Cassano impressed in Italy's 2-1 friendly win over Spain last week and continued his fine form in the team's 2-2 friendly draw against Malmo on Sunday.
"His good performance for the national side has given him a big boost. He put in a strong performance [against Malmo]. He is an important first team player like the rest. It's up to him to make sure he's in top condition."
After watching the Barca and Real game. I would hate it to be in Berlu's and Galli's position. On one hand, you want to compete and know that Milan must do that now, since the core of the team are either really old or at their prime age to do something. On the other, you realise that the current Milan is not 1 or 2 players away from being at the level of Barca and Real, rather they are about 2-3 GREAT players away. Even if Milan sign someone like Ganso and Hamsik now. They are still not good enough to beat the likes of Barca and Real in 2 legs, barring any injuries to the team.

I don't think we need to be 40m on bench players , that's there choice .
I just think we need to get real with our policy and by that I mean get one not just wait and hope some disgruntled out of favor player becomes available for cheap free in installments.
If they would like Hamsik (and I'm sure all at the club would) then ask for him , if they want 40m which is a sum I wouldn't pay , say okay we'll get back to ye.
Have a think about it and put a package together whatever it is 25 or 30 m or pay over installments ,
But this mr X stuff I'd incredibly embarrassing .
We don't need to know each and every step of the way , just be about the business side and negotiations.Which seems contradictory from me as they could be doing that .Highly unlikely though.
Stop saying things like we'll sign two champions and maybe a present a Mr X when we are doing well and the MGT are excited.
It boils down to nothing when you are unwilling to pay more than 6m for Aqualani it's , Ibra great deal.Cassano great deal. Taiwo Mexes for free Looks good also. But I can't help but think if they weren't free say like 10 for Mexes and 6 for Taiwo they wouldn't be here.
I don't think the MGT say down and said those tro men will complete our defense .They picked up because they were free.
But I'm not knocking it they may be great.
Montolivo 10m no go.Aqualani 10 m offer 6 and balk at paying more.I'd say teams MGT now roll there eyes when Milan get in contact about a player.
And while El Sharawwy looks promising will he get on the pitch ? There seems to be a mindset in Italy that if you're Italian and young you are not ready and okay very little.
But to yellow tie put up or shut up.
