Or he just got that virus... The "Kaká-disease"... It's too bad, that one takes years to recover from.

Regarding the second bolded part - they have been asking. The problem is simply that other leagues make more money than serie A. The politics in Italy, behavior of certain fans, and poor FIGC leadership have all contributed to Serie A's diminishing brand. And now it has culminated with Italy losing a CL spot.

So many posters here thought that this summer, we would revolutionize the squad - some even thinking we would spend 100 million (!). Truth is, Italian teams are stretched thin and we don't have the earning power to keep up with the other leagues. It is absolutely no coincidence that Germany has trumped us for 3rd coefficient after all the money the country spent on stadiums after 2006 WC.

IMO - Serie A will be in a depression for at least another 3-5 years. I think we all need to manage our expectations a little better. Right now our only focus should be on getting our second stella. Milan really have the best team in Serie A and we can win the next two scudetti. (Eventually Juve will probably edge us out.) Forget CL for a couple of years. Perhaps FFP will level the playing field a bit more in the years ahead where italy and esp Milan can come back.

All this said, I still expect us to nab a quality LCM before the summer is over - so keep your heads up!

FFP will make things WAY WAY worse for us. We don't own our own stadium, therefore less revenue, therefore we can spend less. It will be a disaster for us. This was our last chance to spend €€€€€ and we didn't. Seedorf/Rino/MvB/Boateng is our Diamond midfield... CL will look ugly ugly ugly like last year....

Even Serie A won't be easy .... Inter always toughs it out, Napoli are balanced, and Roma and Juventus have certainly improved. Berlusconi has really dropped the ball here...After winning the Scudetto just getting 2 guys for Free was not enough.

Oh, and by the way, not only did we not re-new midfield, we lost Merkel & Strasser HAHA... what kind of a stupid joke was that?

That's my opinion also, that FFP will make things worse but one thing I don't get is the statement from Platini that Galliani and Morrati asked for the implementation of FFP, especially since Inter is in the worst position.
Guys we should calm down with the negativity, I don't think Galliani and Berlu have no idea of this hole FFP situation and what not, i'm sure they know what they're doing.. like someone, i forget who said it in previous post Berlu was not in the top 20 richest men in the world and top business men and not to mention PRESIDENT of a country for no reason.. I'm sure he knows what he's doing and he knows how to manage the club, i'm also quite sure they have no desire to drive milan into a dark age. Maybe Berlu plans to have 2billion$ of his will put to milans transfer spending money Big Grin imagine that, lol 3-4 generations of great players.. Jokes aside, I wouldn't be worried. I also wouldn't listen to any media, the real news that can actually be confirmed is Raiola has been working on a big player for us for quite some time.. You guys also must take hints from what our management says. Allegri said he'll be a top player, but not like 50 million euros, Milan plays the media like a puppet when it comes to transfer season, for all we know that could mean the player costed 49 million.. Let's be real, if all our players want to win CL they're not blind to see that barca and real are a step ahead of us.

Then there is no need to come out to the world and say we've identified a "Mr X"... Don't tease the fans with that nonsense if it's not true. Unless Hamsik, Schweinsteiger, or Fabregas comes, everyone was always going to be disappointed. Even Ganso is not deserving of Mr X status at this point as his form has been awful and he's been on our hit list for over 1 year.
I would not put the hope up for Mr. X to be someone huge, since if they are indeed working on him since Jan, there is no reason not to announce his signings in June or July. Why Tge last day of August? Let's say Mr. X is Pastore, and you are Zamp., u know Milan has been talking to Pastore and u since Jan, and they even announce the signing will come in the last day of Aug. Would at mean Milan already signed Pastore and the fees is agreed with you. If not, would you be piss about it since nothing is offcial? And since u r piss, would u lower the price of Pastore or actually increase it? Just does not make any sense if they Milan indeed secure Mr. X but wants to wait till end of Aug to announce his signing.

Point is that, i think Hamsik was Mr. X but as Napoli does not need to sell and the fact at if they do sell, they need to find a replacement, Napoli said pay up X amount and do it now, something that Milan did not in the hopes that Napoli will somehow drop the price of Hamsik by end of August.

I think with there will probably be bargains, Lass Diarra, Gago, Kaka, Tevez, Honda, Diego, Monty and Aqua by the end of August, but you must be pretty stupid to believe that he is the real Mr. X.
Mr. X is Kaka. Aqualli will be the player for the left side of midfield. Simple
Argentina will win the World Cup 2022

LOL. According to what I know about Berlu and our current financial abilities - that's a very likely scenario. Big Grin
"Defending is part of football... Keep possession 95% if u want... but the score is 2-2... thats it!! Well done milan.. Make serie a proud once again.. Big Grin"
Mr X we were led to believe was a top player that would be a big signing , but as far as I can see we are being led up the primrose path.
Kaka Aqualani even Balotelli are not WC signings.I really thought it would be Hamsik or Pastore or Ganso..but it's looks like it will be just Aqualani. And next year Montolivo will be free.We won't win or get far on the CL with those guys .Then with FFP and delusional FIGC policy we'll Lise some money .Then have to sell Pato and Silva and the sky will fall the seas dry up..but seriously the money situation is worrying even when winning trophies we seem to have none.
Aqualani for 8 million this summer Montolivo for free next summer.
Gazzetta reports that Milan is unwilling to spend 20 millions on Aquilani and Montolivo combined, and set to wait until the price for both players drop.

We want to buy two national team players for 5 millions each? Looks like we really don't have the money to spend, otherwise they would be already here...
