It is not an insult to Italy to say they beat the Spainish B team in a friendly, since they are still more talented than a lot of National teams.

And my point is, the team they beat in Bari last night is NOT Spanish B team.

The truth is I don't care who is Mr.X, I just hope we're getting someone but if not, well, brace yourselves, guys.

You really can't say it was the top Spain team without Ramos, Pugol, Xavi, Cesc, Capedella, Villa for 45 mins with Sergio played out of position, Torres for 15 mins and Pedro not playing at all. It is like saying Milan sent out their A team while not playing Abate, Nesta, MVB, Boateng, Taiwo, Ibra only came on in the second half, Pato played 15 mins, Robinho not playing at all and Ambro coming in at half time to play as CB.

Just read the Inter's Financial Situation thread over at forza inter forums, and it's all doom and gloom for them.

They have been having ridiculous losses over the last couple of years and financial fair play rules are about to kick in. I guess they are currently going through situation when they need to sell to balance the books (like back when we sold Kaka), except that we already went through the transition period more or less, while for them it's just starting. Ouch.

Makes me kind of appreciate the 2 years of suffering and transition period without investment after the Kaka sale. Seems like Berlu and Galliani werent' just greedy, they were thinking about the future.

Then I guess, Moggi is a visioneer since he got Juve relegated, thus sold most of tthe team stars and force to develop youth. Since he knew Juve must go through and suffer sooner or later.

Really can't understand how Inter is losing money, since they won the CL two yrs ago, which should give them an addition of 80 mil, while they also sold Mario and canned a few of their over age expensive players.

Serie A as a whole is pretty mess up, and Galli is right about if they dontdo seething now, they will further leg behind the rest of Europe.

For me the most interesting so far in this mercato, that everyone knows we are in need of midfielders, and a number of high-profile midfielders are well on the move (Pastore, Fabregas, Nasri, Sneijder, ect), yet we not seem to get anyone of them. Maybe our financial situation, after that Mediaset fine, is a lot worse than I thought.

I remember news saying that Berlusconi is planning to remove Milan from the Fininvest group or something like that, to keep the finances of the club alive, but since then I heard nothing on this matter.

Anyway, with things not looking too bright for us to get a big name this summer, I would settle for Montolivo and Aquilani as our two signings. At least they would prevent that DM-overload (like two or more of the van Bommel-Gattuso-Ambrosini-Flamini quartet playing at the same time) from happening.

That's staggering that we are so bad given how much we've sold and how little we've bought in recent years. All the more reason to let more of the older past it players go.
