"Non è italiano, né comunitario, ma potrebbe diventarlo entro il 31 agosto": così l'a.d. del Milan su uno dei due attaccanti che dovrebbero rinforzare il reparto. L'altro è Pato. "Il Real? Normale l'interesse di grandi squadre su un grande giocatore"

Lets look at this, "Non è italiano, né comunitario, ma potrebbe diventarlo entro il 31 agosto" it show us that its not Pato.

Regarding Thiago Alcantara, if Kaka can be Mister X, Thiago Alcantara can be Mister X too. The first one is finished player, injury prone, where we have Robinho, who is better player than Kaka now, The second is creative midfielder, in an area that we dont have much options.

Alcantra is not a player we can rely on if we really aim for success in CL since he is inexperienced. I don't know why you really want him as our Mr. X. We really need a ready player, not inexperienced kid like Alcantra. As rejuvenation Milan could use him but not as important signing especially for our creative midfielder spot.

Although gregapenny didnt give a source, i do believe what he's saying because ibra wouldn't be here seriously if we weren't planning to challenge for CL or big things.. I think we wil sign a big name if its Fabregas our midfield problems will be completely solved, he can play cam, LM,CM,RM, any position almost .. I'd like to see him at LCM though because our midfield is crap and we have alternatives for cam like cassano robinho and elshaarawy..

A perfect mercato would be Lucas and fabregas..

AS far as taiwo goes, i think he will solve our LB problem, the few times he put in a cross or went forward he looked good just he was very quiet for most the game and robben terrorized him but then again who CAN get the ball off robben, if robbens fit like he was against us theres no stopping that man its too bad hes probably one of the most injury prone players alive, worst then pato

What counts if i want Fabregas, Hamsik or Basti if they dont sell them to us? Mister X, Mister Y is not important.

im saying that its better for us to sign both Thiago Alcantara and Asamoah than Kaka and Montolivo. its not i want Thiago Alcantara to win CL for instance. it makes difference,

A-Thiago Alcantara+Asamoah
B-Kaka+Montolivo

im with A, cuz i dont want finished and 9-10 m euros waged Kaka and However Montolivo, who is good player but he is not the mezz'ala we seek...

Signing both Asomoah and Thiago Alcantara at least makes sense, considering we can use Robinho as trequartista. (better option than Kaka for there)

Like i said many times before, there is no quarentee that Gattuso, Seedorf and Van Bommel can perform same standarts of last season. Asamoah and Thiago Alcantara would be 2 good additions to our midfield.

T.Alcantara Van Bommel Asamoah
Robinho

Gattuso, Seedorf can find place if they are in form.
Some Fabregas speculation (see pages 109-end):

Robben did 'attack' Taiwo with his skill and ability but Taiwo did well enough to mark Robben. We can count how many successful dribbling Robben managed to go trough Taiwo especially in the PK area. Taiwo did not show anything great in offensive duties but he did well in shutting down Robben before Robben went to penalty kick area.

He still looked confusing though with his sweeping ball when he got the ball. He should be better in that situation if he adapt with Milan play IMO.

Don`t get caught on the show that Robben puts every time he has the ball...he has nice elegant and fancy moves..but except few times when he managed to put a cross in he could not do anything productive mostly do to Taiwos great awareness.

Terrorizing is what Bale did to maicon last year.
No ho visto Superman volare, ma ho visto Super Pippo segnare. I supereroi esistono davvero.
Taiwo was really bad that guy and don't give BS excuses that he sucked only because Robben is too good... Abate, who was a complete blondie the year before, played a great game vs one of the best players in the world C.Ronaldo earlier this season.... Taiwo is NOT a great player, he is a solid player and will provide to be a solid player that is better than Antonini, but we still need a world-class fullback... the greatest teams in the worlds of all times always had a great full back playing with them... that position has become very fundamental in today's football..... Neither Abate nor Taiwo can offer us that threat offensively that Coentrao/Maicon (or most other top fullbacks) could. Taiwo was only brought in cause he was free and thus cost-effective. Don't expect him to be scoring goals and dominating the flank any time soon!
Taiwo was really bad vs Robben? What was his fatal mistakes that make his play rated really bad? At least what Taiwo did vs Robben was OK, no way very bad except people demand Maldini's form as standard.

The video below shows some of Taiwo's play vs Robben (not that he did like in video in the hole minutes but at least it shows that he was not really bad like someone said).

I was very judgemental of Allegri after first 2 months of him playing 4-3-3 w Ronaldinho. Turns out he did a LOT better. However, his job is not done, he needs to prove he's an excellent coach for many seasons (like Ancelotti, Capello, Mourinho, etc.)

The same goes for Taye Taiwo. I will not judge him after 1 preseason game. That's ridiculous. Let's judge him at Christmas break. He doesn't even speak italian yet for g0d sake. I'm sure he'll do fine. There are only a few WC FB's at the moment, perhaps he can be a new one, or not. For sure he'll be better than Antonini that didn't have a left foot and can't shoot or pass.
