I don't think you make a good point about Bommel's prone to red cards. According to soccernet stats, he never got more than 2 red cards in one season (in all competitions with club and national team).
Ok I thought he was a bit rough and had that reputation. Perhaps I'm wrong. However, Balotelli is not someone I think we need. End of story. He's not THAT good that he can act like an idiot all the time. Not what we need esp with all of the excellent strikers we have.

I think, most of us don't want Balotelli due hjs attitudes. 
That youtube video posted by reza just shows he doesn't belong to Milan. You can be lazy to practice, train (this can be fixed with right mentor, surroundings and most important right motivation) but you can't do such thing even in a friendly game.

I f he had os scored they all would of celebrated.He does stupid things but gets reamed on like no other.It was a bit of skill that didnt come off, he didnt piss on anyone's face.

I don't think it is being blown up. Whether it is goal or not, it is stupid. You can't do such thing even in a friendly game. For me it is just like the one who scored from PK by hitting the ball from behind. Both are stupid. You won't do that in a normal game. You do that thing in a friendly game, for what? To disrespect your opponents? To make your name listed in the breaking news? Because of that stupid thing?
What Balotelli did was not a trick, a skill, something to make the chance to score bigger, like many players did by scoring with back heel WHEN they are directly in front of goal. What Balotelli did just shows how immature he still is. This kind of player doesn't belong to Milan.
This is what I call being blown up.

Spot on! If Huigita had made an erse of the Scorpian Kick against england all those years ago people would have made something of it. As he got it right everybody talks about the skill.

You forgot, he did play with other for half of season before joining Milan and he was free of red card in that club. 
In addition, the red card in his debut was totally undeserved. The referee got influenced by media 'hype' about Bommel's reputation.

It's no worse than Henry & Pires' penalty against city which ppl said was stupid but nothing about disrespect actually that was worse.
And players chipping penalties gently down the centre of the goal but that skillful and a cool head even tho it makes the keeper look a fool on back clawing at thin air .
As I said Balotelli is an idiot at least 3 times a year , but this ridiculous hate.I players didn't try outrages tricks then it wouldn't be a beautiful game.He is being painted as s disrespectful player when he just swiveled and tried to backheel the ball in to net.
No wonder how Mancini reacted. Do you watch his reaction just after that incident? If it were just a normal failure (like for example he tried to lob the ball or dribble it instead of a direct shot but failed to score), the coach would just show a bitter smile, not such reaction from Mancini, which I do agree with him.
It is just so unprofessional from Balotelli, for the opponent and also for the team mates. There are things call creativity or tricks, there are also called stupid things. That situation was a huge chance for Balotelli to score with normal shot, he just throw it away in order to do a trick? I thought, a trick or creativity is to make the chance to win bigger especially in scoring situation.
People shouldn't mix between creativity (tricks, etc) with stupidity.

People also have different opinions , so by you're reasoning when a player is one on one with a keeper and has a chance to shoot he should , so when the player then throws a dummy puts the keeper on his ass and walks the ball in that would constitute unprofessionalism .But it doesn't that's the thing .If it were Rooney who did that exact same thing wouldn't of even been mentioned.
