If mgt really cares about this club, they would have done so earlier.. Those ex players who are involved in other org/ institution, I bet wouldnt think twice when his former club comes knocking at the door, giving a role in the club once again..

Albertini will be welcomed back to the club, until he starts to be useful.

I think he's said it a few times actually. Have said many times him and Maldini should be back at the club imo.

A great piece on Kakha Kaladze http://thesefootballtimes.co/2016/07/12/...a-kaladze/
How come all the players from that generation of Milan are such good businessman?

Thanks for the link. Haven't read it yet, but look forward to it. Also, I think the reason is that in Milan it was always the case that players coming in would always be looked at as people first. Therefore, it wasn't just about technical quality and workrate, but they were generally intelligent, conducted themselves properly and had the personality to succeed.
That can't be said about the players we often see today.

That is very true. Those were teams of real men, not spoiled prima donnas.

I wouldn't even say primadonnas, but just kids a lot of times. I think it was Alex Ferguson said that in his latter years he would have to give much more precise instructions to the players because unlike players in the past, where they interpreted the instructions, the new generations don't really do that.

A very nice article about what Milan Glorie is about and the good they do using football:

Not sure where this belongs, but I just read that Bayern Munich under Carlo Ancelotti (our old guard
) this season has played 5 matches so far. They have won all 5, scoring 20, and conceded 0. Damn. |
