Regarding directors, I'm not surprised... RB and Gerry don't see this season as a disaster. Because regular CL or trophies are not their mandatory goals. They're probably wondering what's all that fuss amongst fans is about?!

Imo, we need to inject some Italian blood into the squad. I've been fine without until now...but it's evident that our squad lacks a sense of belonging. We lack those that know what Milan symbolizes. I think that's more a 'delusion' (I am not really sure what better word than delusion to use) on part of some owners. "What I have is good enough", I think even Berlu had it to some extent. I think in business in general 'I have to spend money to make money' is accepted but in case of sports people like Cardinale start from the viewpoint that we have all we need on the pitch.

Berlu indeed had it, at least in the end of his era, but Berlu was "insane" even as a business man. Gerry is calculated wall street leech, not much delusions amongst those kind of folks. I think it's like a "side-gig" he don't care (much) about. If it brings "few dimes" - good, if not - it is only important that it doesn't go into minus. I mean, he attended, how much, 3 games since he bought club? Doesn't sound like someone who cares about sport or club.
