I really don't understand the hype on Poli, as I think he is nothing special the only advantage of him is that he is Italian. Having said that I had only seen him play about 10times or so. To me he reminds me a lot of Donati and Dalla Bona when these two started their career. Lazzarri is another I don't understand. Allegri might like those players but I think Merkel are much better than both of them and Milan needs midfielders who are better than Merkel.
As for getting wide players, I think Allegri knows that speed and movement are the modern game but he lacks the players who can do that. Personally, I think will be great if Milan can play in a faster pace.
Robben- i dont think he'll leave Bayern soon. On Robben, we missed our chance when we had the chance, we could have signed him in Kaka deal. but its very unlikely.
Lucas Marcelinho, im impressed by his skills, i hope we can sign him.
Diarra- i didnt watch him since last season, so dont know how his form is at the moment and however Diarra is a true monster in midfield, a wall in midfield.
Merkel, i also think that he is better than Poli or Lazzari, both are much hypeed by italian media... Merkel on trequartista position, he can do alot better than Seedorf as he feels more comfortable there, as he doesnt have risk losing balls or making mistakes on defensive phrase, so he is more relaxed there.
Ganso, As i said before, i didnt watch him enough. However you say that he is playmaker like Pirlo but not regista.
Some of my friends said that he is like Alex with more workrate, so it makes me pessimistic about this...(Pirlo slow, was always weak link on team defence, he lacks pace ) so he has same problems? im confused. sorry guys.

2) is he track back or he is good defensively? does he press?
3) What about his movement?(especially the movement to the box) What about his finishing? he can be a match winner for us?
4) Kaka was a match winner for us, he was a good link in team defence, his finishing was very good, his pace and his direct play made him Kaka and wrote the history with us... What kind of specialities will make Ganso special at us?
5) he is more assis man or finisher? or both? in this formation we need both. i hope he is both.
Aldough Bale is a phenomenal player, I'd prefer a player like Ganso, as classical CAM are players that do not come oftenly. A player like him is a diamond...
BUT, if there is no power to bring him in, Milan WILL try, Im sure, to bring in a world class midfielder next year + 2 good players.
Im all ok with Montolivo, who I think can show more in Milan then in Viola. If a player like Bale comes, and maybe a player like Lucas, we are an unbeateble team.
Whatever Ganso does, after I saw Lucas play, Im not so convinced Lucas is behind Ganso. He is a different player, but a monster!
I do not believe in Wan der Wiel rumours, as that makes no sence, Abate is doing WELL.
LB, Mexes, Bale, Lucas... And na-naaa.... who can beat Milan?

It's Alou Diarra and not Lassana Diarra who said last week that if he had to leave Bordeaux, his dream would be to join Milan ...
The problem is he signed a long contract (until 2014 I think) and is going to be 30 this year. He's a good DM, not amazing, not bad, a good squad player for a team like us, nothing more. Taking such a player would make sense to replace another squad player like Gattuso, Van Bommel or Ambrosini.
I'm surprised that nobody mentionned our Primavera players as potential Milan players next season. The best would be to include one or two young players each season. Verdi is the one I want to be promoted, and maybe Beretta (long term for him, we have better options right now). He can play in all positions of attacking midfield (CAM, RAM, LAM) and also as a second striker, he has talent, and he is the kind of player we don't have in our team (small player with good technical skills). This guy has to be promoted next season. Of course, he would be a squad player.
Actually, I'd let Strasser go, and would keep Merkel, and then add Verdi. The following season, it could be the turn of a guy like Fossati or another young player exploding. We really need to work on both the mercato AND our Primavera team if we don't want to have the same problem as we had after our winning cycle: no young player in the team, only a team with star players and a useless Primavera team with players being co-owned, sent on loan or even sold.

Abate is doing well but that doesn't mean he's a great right-back. Any rumour suggesting Van der Wiel will come should be welcomed, but i'm 99% sure it is just that, a rumour!
We should stay well clear of Balotelli, i don't believe that bringing him hear will make any difference to his attitude. Let him disrupt another team. Having said that, we have Berlusconi who still has these rose-tinted glasses and only sees what he wants to see in players, so no doubt we'll try for Balotelli and ignore the defence and midfield.
I'm not optimistic about any of these Brazilian starlets coming here. Ganso seems set for Inter, we don't seem at all interested in Neymar and there's not much to write about with Lucas.

Yep, about Balotelli, his attitude is a lot worse than the one of Cassano in his worst days (Cassano never was a "bad guy", just a bit mad once in a while, whereas Balotelli seems to have this attitude problem all the time) ...
About his talent, yes, he's got some and has probably the tools to become a great player in the future, but his attitude is such a problem that I wonder if this guy will become a good player someday. He only showed glimpses of talent actually, without thinking about his attitude, he has never convinced me that he could be a Milan player. Add his attitude problems to that and I hope this guy will stay far from Milan. Let's let him go to Napoli ...
Balotelli would be a huge risk and a very long term project (his attitude problems won't be cleared in 1 month). We should focus on our Pato actually ...

No to Balotelli tbh, the guy's behavioural problems aren't likely to be curbed if I'm honest. One week he's asking for help, but then the week after he's throwing darts at youth players. Quite frankly, even if he supports Milan, I think he's wasted his talent.

Robben is possible as he's made it clear he's got no interest in playing Europa League, which Bayern risk.
About Poli, I think he has potential to be a good ball playing midfielder, meaning he'll be solid in front of defence but can work as a regista to start moves and offer some creativity. Lazzari on the other would be a decent hardworking squad player, not a starter though.
I presume you're referring to my post in Brasileiro's thread about Ganso. I meant he's like Pirlo in the way he can dictate the flow of a match and direct attacks, though he naturally plays higher up the pitch rather than as a regista (he does often drop deep to start moves though). His movement's good, although he moves more like Pirlo and Zidane, meaning he drifts around the pitch rather than sprinting.
As for the questions...
1) As I said he moves a lot, but doesn't sprint all over the pitch like others (e.g. Tevez).
2) He's not particularly good defensively but sometimes will help out defensively, but bear in mind he plays behind the strikers, not in front of the defence.
3) His finishing is good, but he's more likely to play passes to open up teams than score and win matches.
4) Ganso's very different to Kaka. He's not as direct and plays the game through his passing game rather than driving through opponents. He isn't so much a match winner yet in that he isn't likely to beat 2-3 players to score a winning goal, but he will dominate games by opening up teams with his vision (which is simply incredible) and passing.
5) He's definitely more of an assist man, which is something our forwards have missed this season.
Our midfielders doesnt score much, Cassano is more assist man and however he is great on assisting. if we play with Robinho or Cassano linking up with ibra in attack, Signing Ganso makes us more ibra dependent, it makes ibra only scoring man in attack.( considering Pato's injuries)
Nuri Sahin's vision and assisting, passing ability is very high as well. Eriksen is more assist man, Honda is good on both finishing, movement and assisting. he also can play in midfield trio.
Not that there's any rumour linking us to him, but anybody here up for Sergio Canales? He rarely plays this year but, to me, he was a joy to watch when he played for Santander. If there's a Madrid player that we should consider to buy/loan, I'd pick him and not Kaka. He's young, talented, and pretty cheap too.
