Thats the thing...every player can allow himself a trick or a mistake like that, and I do not think that the coaches reactions would be as was Mancinis...but when you know you are under the spotlight for number of outbursts and silly/stupid actions why do you go on and do another one.
Its like the red card by Cassano in the Inter game, it did not mean anything for the game nor was a big problem for the next game, but everybody was talking about that because it was a indication that Cassano is still the same prick he used to be.....this game Man City vs Galaxy was the nothing more than a casual friendly and the goal would not mean a big thing but why would you go on a do a stupid trick like that unless you are a nutcase.

Balotelli is still a child, he always wants to have fun. I think his childhood was not easy for him, that could have affected him badly (Michael Jackson???), so we should be patient with him as a human being.
However, as a professional and international footballer, his actions were not acceptable.
I hate to say but Balotelli's got no place in Milan. He lacks discipline, basic common sense and maturity to reach the top. This recent act of idiocy is only one in a huge list of them, and he only showed disrespect with this act.
There are people defending him saying he thought he heard a whistle, but I really don't buy this excuse. There's also the argument here saying that if these tricks are unprofessional, then so are things like dummies. However, the difference there is while a dummy serves a purpose, this backheel flick didn't and was merely for show.
Ultimately, Balotelli's flushing his career down the toilet. He's got the talent to be a huge player, but his attitude will most probably result in him being remembered as a wasted talent.
At Milan, a player's attitude is considered extremely important and it's no coincidence that most Milan players (even the current crop of "bad boys") during Berlu's time in charge have been called model professionals. That's why players like Pippo and Paloschi, who always give their best despite not being the greatest players, are picked ahead of others like Balotelli or someone like Mutu.
In other news, well, there's no news really. The Cesc rumours are dying down again a little, Hamsik says he always wanted to stay at Napoli and now Kaka is rumoured as most likely Mr X.

Unless the players are playing in an ALL STAR game or charity games, what Mario did was truly disrespectable. Not only was he not sorry he also told his coach to f**k off.
He might be a very talented player but thats just make it worse b/c he is wasting them.
I just read about the Bojin deal between Roma and Barca. I think thats a pretty good deal for Roma. I mean, if Bojin plays well for Roma for the next two seasons. He will cost 40mil. Yes, 40 mil is a lot but if he ends up leading Roma to CL and Serie A glory and he proves that he can be the centerpiece of a team, then 40mil is a bargain. Considering not only he proves himself in the league as he actually done it with the team he will be playing.
Put it this way, if there is a deal like that for Pastore or Ganso or Hamsik or whoever. Milan should take it right away. True that 40 mil is a lot for a player, but in a way, you really know what you are getting and what the players are offering. There is nothing to gamble.

Faking a keeper and walking into goal is a football move. Turning your back on goal with the intention to score is showboating.
I think if it were anyone else who did it, they would certainly get all kinds of grief. But not as much as Balotelli. Fair or unfair, ceratin players (like Balotelli) created reputations that will result in their being criticized more than other players. What he did was dumb because he missed. Had it gone in, certain people would exclaim what a dumbass he is while others would applaud the incredible goal.
Anyway, irrelevant in the mercato thread as we need another striker as much as we need Bonera.

Emanuelson+Money is too much for Montolivo. Emanuelson is a quality player, He just needs Allegri to work on his weak points, Then he will do a lot better this season. Lets not forget he is at Milan since January, new country, new club, new role. im convinced that he will do better this season. Honestly, i rate Emanuelson higher than Montolivo.
inter fans didnt want him, cuz they see him as an average player. Preziosi said that Montolivo non serve a Milan. That makes sense. i hope we can sign Asamoah instead. Then stay as we are if we dont have money for big name...Real, Chealse and City wants Pastore.
Regarding Casemiro, i saw him playing as attacking midfielder, as left forward, as RCM, as DM, as LCM with Sao Paolo.He is pretty good box to box midfielder.
