Summer mercato 2021

He played every game because he is a great player who delivered good performances. Are you seriously suggesting we would've been in the top 4 last season without him? Meite wouldn't have gotten us to EL, man.
I'd like to think we are a better "team" and we have others who are growing. I don't believe that Kessie (although very important last year), or anyone else for that matter, is irreplaceable. And I don't think that the difference of CL or no CL rests on 1 player.

Im in favor of resulting these situations early. At the 2 year mark prior to contract expiration. The only reason Kessie can get 8.5M elsewhere is because that other team doesn't have to pay a transfer fee. Throw that in there, and the wage situation may (likely will) change. So why even let these players get to that point? At 2 years, you offer a renewal. Of course, Kessie was practically shit until last year, so I don't blame Maldini for not offering a big deal last year. But if they don't accept that, then at 1 year you do a "take it or leave it" offer. If not, be sold. If you don't wanna leave or don't have a market that'll pay for you, then you are the last option (hence you're benched permanently) as we'll focus on players that actually have a future here.

But the point I always try to make when talking about this point is that we, as a club, (Maldini, Gazidis, Elliot, etc) know what our limit is when it comes to Kessie. Every company does for every player. Have we reached that limit??? Because it seems like we have. And so, if we have reached that limit (let's say 5.5M for Kessie), the wtf is the point of waiting??? Are we waiting for him to change his mind? Because it clearly wasn't enough for him. I understand giving someone a week to think about it...but it's been months. We are at the limit with what we can offer. So...don't wait for our offer to change, because it won't. Accept it, or move on. I don't get it. It's so frustrating.
How much would Marcos Antonio from Shakhtar cost? This guy is great. Bennacer type of vibes from him. Very good on the ball. Super hard to disposes. Also gets stuck in. Only 21. The time to sign these types of players in now and not when the PL sides get after them

How can people not understand that we have NO CAPABILITY AND RESOURCES to afford benching a player like Kessie for a full year while being fully paid?

Either we sell him now (good luck finding the right price) or he stays and plays and maybe leave for free. People all talk about threatening to bench players, meh, admit it: we are not in a position to do that.
MILAN! MILAN! SOLO CON TE!
MILAN! MILAN! SEMPRE PER TE!
Capability and resources? Why not? Why exactly don't we have that?
It's all a moot point, Maldini, Pioli won't do that.

Kessie needs to be signed or sold for high amount, otherwise it is at best naive management and at worst incompetent management. Whether it is Elliott, Gazidis or Maldini the reason it reached here is pretty much irrelevant.
Faivre only if it comes out #Castillejo
The bench on Monday is a signal for the Spaniard

The offer of the #Milan for #Corona is 7 million plus bonus. The #Porto , despite the expiration of the contract in 10 months, asks 13 because 40% would go to the #Twente

Adli situation: I was finally able to get some feedback on the matter, after weeks of nothing.
There is full conviction in taking it. The scissor should be 10 off. 12 request
The negotiations would eventually continue even after August, but Milan want it immediately
Faivre is a big talent. Hope we get him.
I think Kessie stays.

We won't bench him though, he is not Montolivo. Worse thing is if he doesn't renew we sell him cheap in January, that would surely be the direction we take. Him and Romagnoli : extend by January or out they go, even if it's for a pittance.

Faivre doesn't make sense.
We sell a player who's a RW and bring in someone who mostly plays LW?
We just got rid of a LW because we couldn't play him.
Why not go and get a right winger. better to sign an average RW than a talented player and play him out of position.
Honda anyone? Sign a talented CAM and play him RW and then say he's shit when it doesn't work out.
