I don't think directors will read that much into 6 months or even 1 year of "flop". I think we are too used to our managements being poor sellers.
Tare or a director who is good at his job can easily convince other teams to not read too much into a bad period. The bigger question in this case imo is that was the initial value correct, is Nkunku actually a 40 million player, the amount we paid for him? If the 40 was correct then a half decent director can and should find buyers around 35 easily. And he scored twice today, hope he scores a few more.

I'm still crying for a top CB. We are enjoying good results thanks to defense structure, a quality mid-3 setup, and a pair of promising wing backs.
But... we only have 3 mediocre CBs to start, the subs are worse.
