^^ I think he was being booed by the Liverpool supporters..not the Chelsea supporters. I also saw that fail of a throw-in and how completely useless he was on the pitch but I assumed it was maybe just an off day, since I don't really know much about him.

Everybody's liable to have an off-day every now and then. The thing is Torres has been having them on a regular basis for almost a year now, quite the last thing you'd expect from the most expensive player in EPL history.

I thought it was a small section of the crowd that was boo'ing. Are you talking about when he was warming up? I think he jogged all the way down to the Liverpool section as well which is why it would have sounded louder.

Not just when he was warming up; also on several occasions when he touched the ball. It was so extremely loud that I couldn't believe it.

It would be so hurtful if it was from his "own" Chelsea supporters. Confused

Silva had a golden chance to win the match as well..but compleeetely screwed up that 1v1. Am I the only one that thinks Balotelli's sending off was undeserved? I don't think that was a second yellow card offense at all. Poor guy starts racking up cards now based on his reputation more than anything else.

I agree. His arm was out but I thought it wasn't unnatural when you jumped high for a head ball. You could call that a foul, but certainly not a bookable foul. It was totally unintentional and non-malicious. The Liverpool players influenced the referee's decision too.
