Milan Head Coach discussion IV

They want what's best for their finances and everything else is not important. Incompetent management, coaches and what not are results of being cheap. I'm not saying we can and should spend 500M each mercato, but this is ridiculous.

Looks like Napoli has come to an agreement with Max Allegri to become their new coach. Can’t see them finishing second next season lol

James Horncastle: Mauricio Pochettino met with representatives from Milan over its vacant head coach position. The meeting took place last week ahead of the United States’ World Cup camp in Georgia. Pochettino’s contract with USSF expires after the World Cup.

We need an available coach. Preseason starts in first week of July, someone like Poch will not be in Milan that early, even if US get eliminated early in World Cup he will go on vacation and then arrive unfamilair with milanello.
If you see errors accessing the site contact me, see email below, with as much info as possible, thanks

Nobody involved in World Cup will arrive soon. It says that Rangnick demanded "full authority" (it seems he don't want to deal with "THE Lion") including choosing the new coach, but he would accept the job after World Cup.  It would then delayed new coach, new signings, everything...
I guess it's Van Bommel as coach and dude from Toulouse as SD.
And then you don't know what's worse. To wait (obviously not for Pochetinno, it's dude who failed to win French title with PSG, but if there is someone better) or to settle for available mediocres...

The only reason I want someone like Ralf, someone that demands control to build and work without interference and bullshit....is to break the status quo. Not just at Milan, but in Italian football as a whole. Football in Italy is at its lowest point ever. At least in our lifetime. Both at rhe club level and the NT. There have been peaks and valleys in the past, but there's always been at least something that functioned. Either the clubs or the NT. These days, it's all gone to shit. And nobody, not a single club is willing to break the cycle. Look at what's happening with the coaching carousel. Again and again, as it does every summer.

We fired everyone, so this is the perfect time to start fresh. We should even be willing to forego a season or two, in order to build something big in the long term. Build from the roots up. Everything. Academy and Sr team. Create a structure that works like a machine. The club comes first and foremost, so create a structure that supports the entire club. And stick to it. Be strong. Believe in what you are building and support it even when times get tough (as inevitably, they will, especially in the beginning).

I really hope this is the summer that we rip the band aid off and separate ourselves from the italian (footballing) mindset of mediocrity. The entire football system is burning down to the ground, and these fuking imbeciles do nothing to change course. To prevent it. To fix it. Instead they rotate coaches and ideas like cheap hookers. All the while, Italian clubs have become a joke. None of them are considered as favorites for ANYHTING in Europe. Talent in the country is at its lowest level in recent memory. And the NT has now missed 3 WCs in a row.

But no....nothing to see here folks. Let's just carry on with the same old ways....while the rest of Europe has gone light years ahead.
