Week 14: Torino - Milan December 8 2025 20:45CET

Wow! Its never a easy ride with this team, on the other side, the adrenaline is pumping for all 90 minutes!

Puli is just a freaking genious. Look at his positioning on the second goal, its elite, world class, same for the finishing. Fever last night, our saviour tonight. What a player. A lot in his game is pure instinct. Thing you cant learn. Look at Leao, he does not have that instinct at all.

On the flipside, what the hell was we doing in the first half? Looked hangover and not prepared at all. Horrible. We must stop to play at that snail speed with sideways and backways passes an mass. What does that help really? In the second half it was urgency and quick passes, and that tore Toro a part. We have a dynamic and fast team. Play that way!

1 place yet again withou really impressing this season. We are in a good position now, but are a few injuries from disaster. We NEED that striker at all costs. And we need that Saele replacement. With two quality signings we could stay in the race in 2026.

My rating: 1-10:

- Maignan: 5,5. Not good on the second goal, but he is excused.
- Tomori: 5,5. Clumsy and unlucky on the penalty. Not his best evening. Played better in the second half though.
- Gabbia: 6. Won a lot of duells against those towering attackers of Torino.
- Pavlovic: 5,5. As Gabbia + some offensive actions. Should maybe have shut down Zatapa earlier in the goal.
- Saelemakers: 6. Was really anonymous in the first half, assist and really good play at times in the second.
- Modric: 6. The level from the first 5/6 matches is fading. Absolute decent enough, but Jashari should get som more playing time now.
- Rabiot: 6,5. What a rocket! Was way below pair as the whole team in the first despite the goal.
- RLC: 7. He had a astonishing second half! My MVP behind Puli. Dragged the team forward time after time and used his physique greatly both ways.
- Bartesaghi: 5,5. Not his best match. Had a horrid time against Pedersen and Zapata in the first half. Slightly better in the second.
- Nkunku: 5. He actually had a 1 half of 3. The worst half on an attacker i have ever seen i think. also at fault for the second goal, but in the second he did interesting things to be honest.
- Leao: 5. Never got in the game. Bad injury. Groin area is not easy.

- Pulisic: 7,5. What a man. You just need to love him.
- Ricci: 7. Did really well. Assist and pretty secure in passing.

Pulisic's movement off the ball is top class. He is not a CF, but he is so intelligent with his movement, that he can actually play anywhere. He reads the game so well, his timing is impeccable, and he is also very good on the ball. Neither finish was easy.

On the first goal, he smartly backed up a step and gambled on the ball being missed by everyone. Then, he had the composure to glue the ball to his foot and finish without trying to smash the ball.

On the second goal...Just watch his movement in the build up. He is roaming all over the place and comes close to the sideline to be an option. As soon as the ball goes down the wing, he shifts gears, looks at the area, and goes exactly to the pk spot. And he doesn't full-on sprint to get there. Because there isn't a need for it. If he did, he would have actually gotten there early and maybe even been picked up by someone. So he times his run perfectly. And then the finish was very smart. Not easy at all as the ball skips in front of him. Without trying to smash it, he uses the pace of the ball to redirect it back towards the near posts. That's the only way he could have made a somewhat clean connection. And even if he didn't (which, he didn't) there was still a margin for error. If he went with power, it would have sailed over the bar or worse, completely miss the connection. If he tried toing towards the fat post, there is greater risk of a missed connection and a very small margin for error.

His football IQ is top notch. It really is. I didn't expect a whole lot when we signed him. I was thinking, "ah great, another washed up injury prone player that we'll be hoping rediscovers himself and move him on in 3-4 years when he doesn't". But I was really wrong. He has impressed so much.
