It is interesting that this guy was like a walking zombie for the first few years, then all of a sudden he plays like Messi in his final contract year.

Reminds me of Flamini, who pulled that trick multiple times (with us and other teams).

That also reminds me of a recent interview he (Hakan) had with Milan TV (I think). He said that his personal life is going well and that helps his performance on the pitch. Then, he probably realized something and added that of course as a professional players, we all behave professionally and will not let the off-the-pitch issues affect our professional performance. LOL.

I don't know what to comment on his potential request, but trust (and have to trust) our management to handle it properly.

Let’s be fair. This guy was played with a rotating cast of coaches and crap players. He gets a decent side in his preferred position and shines. We may hate it, but he has a right to make some demands. I think he will sign and this is just media hubbub though.
