I don't want to see elano in our squad,we got similiar players like boateng and merkel, even flamini can duplicate some his style.
I'm impressed by van bommel's performance so far,he is a wall before backline, and connect both ends with efficiency. We don't have that type of DM since rijiaacard. It's a pity he is approaching the end of his career.
May god with chinese footbball
Elano is crap end of story, and how can a player like Kaka not replace Slowdorf in Milan of the past few years?
As for Gattuso, I really think he should stay but at the same time he has to know that he will be a bench player and a leader off the pitch more than in the starting 11.
IMO, it really depends on who Milan will buy this summer to strengthen the midfield.
As of now, here are the current midfielders:
Stay for sure: Boateng, and Merkel
On the bubble: Pirlo, Gattuso, MVB, Ambro, Flamini, Emmuelson and Strausser
Gone: Seedorf
Quite honestly, if Milan are serious about signing top notch midfielders to challenge on all fronts, they should really go for midfielders who are two way/box to box midfielder with more offensive flair, since barring Pirlo, the rest of the midfielders on the bubble are more toward the defensive side.
Looking at the way how MVB is playing, I won't be surprise or mind to see him for another year. Emmuelson on the other hand will be interesting, as he really have not show anything in Milan but then again he didnot have a chance to play.
Flamini, as long as he knows he is a regular player will be a great player and is a typical modern CM.
Pirlo is interesting, since he is out of contract and I really don't see how he would fit into the current team if Ganso or Hernanes or Jucelei or whoever are coming to play in Milan.
Nothing official, but Gazzetta and CdS claim Mexes has agreed a deal in principle to join Milan in June. 4 year deal @ €4.5m a season

Mexes is a great purchase, great back up player, who will fill in mostly for Nesta. however 4.5 mil per annum is a lot. Its 1.5 mil more than he deserves. his contract is 4 years, that means that we gave him around 6 mil, more than he deserves. I don`t mind this, its much better to give 6 mil to your future player than his current club. But beware of other players.
The next step is giving a huge raise to Thiago S. who for sure doesn`t earn 4.5 mil... otherwise you have Real breathing on you neck.
P.S I read on Gazzeta that Jucilei has signed with Anzhi(the Russian club that signed Robreto Carlos) for 10 mil. too bad.
Free agent always gets a higher than normal salary to make up for the zero transfer. Flamini earns 4 millions per year so I think it's normal that a player like Mexes, who is also in his prime age, earns that much. I hope his coming means that we'll let Bonera go although I guess, sadly, it's Sokratis that will be shown the door.
per l'amaro e il dolce
won't Mexes replace Legro, not Papa?

Hello people, its MRKI, but with new nick, as I had problems with the old one for some reason, strange reason etc... Anyway, mr. Burns is here
Regarding the Kaka' story... A players like him is of course perfect for our sistem, in which we can stop pretending that Robinho can be a CAM. But the question is can Kaka' still play top football. In my oppinion Milan does not need Kaka' and Ricky can stay in his "dream club" R. Madrid or go wherever he wants. Maybe to Merda so he and Leo will be two traitors which will be a peir to remember.
Milan needs to turn to new and modern players like Ganso ( if his health is ok ), Lucas etc.
Mexes to Milan is a good deal, as he would be a 3rd CB aguess. Since we cannot pay for players like Luiz etc., we can patch up like this. If a very good/great LB is bought, our back line would be very good if not great.
Midfield is the problem, and Im guessing players like Gattuso, Seedorf, Pirlo will all be gone. Maybe even Flamini who is not showing anything. At least 3 quality players are needed in there, and that is where the money needs to be spend!

P.S.
IT'S MRKI!!!
After Mexes, another strong rumour is from L'Equipe which states Sakho may not renew at PSG and instead seek out career at Milan

About Mexes, as all of you know, Galliani always talked about a friendship between Roma and Milan meaning we wouldn't try to get their players ... And it seems that we "gave" them Borriello to deal more easily with Mexes without stopping this friendship (friendship who is going to end once Roma will be sold for sure !!).
It's what you can read on TMW.
Another name is linked with both us and Roma: Astori. I didn't watch any of his performances, but it looks like nowadays, he is showing signs of high level and is improving constantly from what I can read. Roma would be interested to buy him, but Milan could also be interested to take him back for the next season. If that means Bonera is gone for example, I'm all for Astori to come back !!
One should not speak ill of the dead.
So stop laughing at Juventus !
Tiago,Nesta,Mexes,Astori and Yepes....its great CB line up. Astori has been great lately.
