I agree with you, Dev. That derby firework ruined him; otherwise, he was close to perfection in the year of 2005. He was simply unbeatable and was set to overtake Buffon to be the world's best.

Honestly, I love the guy but he's talking out of his ass in this. Saying Pippo and particularly Seedorf were burned by results is absurd. They were rookie coaches who were expected to get top results? That's completely on the club. Seedorf actually got reasonable results overall during his time.

On protesting Galliani being like protesting the Virgin Mary, Ancelotti's really making his comments based on personal relationships here. There's literally nothing Galliani can be defended on, literally nothing.

It depends on the individual imo. I doubt he's specifically racist (or full of hate), just very ignorant really. I say that because his point isn't necessarily wrong, African football for example doesn't have the best organised teams. However, he's simply tarring Rudiger (a guy I wasn't convinced of in the summer) with the same brush, simply because of his skin colour, is moronic. But again, his point isn't necessarily wrong, it's rare to see a focus on defending in foreign countries in the way Italy has traditionally had, especially in the modern game.

How you express yourself is important in order to make a point. In this case, I think Eranio has done a bad job in doing it, in public which will always cause a stir, even if what he was trying to say wasn't actually particularly bad.

You don't need to be "full of hate" to be racist. That is all that I'll say because this is a forum for talking football and not one for talking about something as complicated as racism. In any case, he said what he wanted to and meant to say and received the right punishment for doing so.
