I will disagree. I have seen Barcelona games over the years and this season they have almost become a one man show of Messi. Messi is still the same, infect better, its Barcelona who's standard have dropped.

Don't forget it's also a Euro year. The Ballon D'Or will be greatly affected by a team's performance at the Euros this summer. That being said..I think Ronaldo won the Ballon D'or after the 2008 Euros? Not entirely sure.

You say 'selfish' I call him a prima donna. It's one thing being offside twice or thrice, perhaps due to excessive eagerness. But not from what Ibra shown tonight. It was pure cocky laziness. The team behind him (mid & def) fucked up and he almost deliberately decided to do the same thing: the few times he weren't offside, he held the ball waaay too long, and when his teammates were up high in their positions he misplaced the pass, leaving us to counter-attack in which he, in a deeper position, didn't even bother to track back.
