Juve might be spending 50 mil on average to good players now but as I said, once they start playing in CL more and actually get a better coach, they will only have more money to spend and those great players will sign for them.
So? What are we gonna do? Dude, we're fans, not board. Juve has been crap in transfer since they were promoted again to Serie A, even when they're still in CL (2 or 3 years ago), and I see no reason why suddenly they will change their policy. Actually even with coach like Delneri and Deschamps (which I rate quite highly) they are still crap and clueless in transfer.
And in case they are actually reach that level (just as you said, rich and attract all great players), 1. we are more than ready to compete with them, and 2. Serie A will be more competitive and has more worth to be won. Either are good...
Quote:As for Real, well, I really would not call them a joke as Barcelona plays in the same league as them, also, they are a level above Milan at the moment. That's exactly why I said they were a joke. Barca spent less yet won more. It shows that you don't need big spending to win something; what you need is right spending. Barca spent their (not-so-big-)money on youth development... and they got Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol, Pique, Valdes, Busquet, Pedro, Bojan, Thiago, Jeffren et.al. and some trophies.... Madrid spent 150M on CR7 and Kaka and yet they only got 1 Copa Del Rey, they can't beat Barca, that's why they are exactly a joke.
Quote:I am not saying Milan won't strike a deal for a player or two that will improve the current squad till season starts, but to think that ey can keep finding bargains every summer is unreal. As I think this year is a sellers market more than a buyers market due to the FFP in the coming years.I believe that our board are looking for bargain but if they can't find one and they still feel they need the player, they will surely splash the money. The key is we are not easily tricked into big-money signing by the small teams who ransomed their star players to squeeze our money. For example in Hamsik's case, if board (and Allegri) truly want him, I believe in late August we may see him moving with about 35-40M price tag, but that's if all negotiations with De Laurentiis to lower his price fail... which is unlikely, as we'll try to press his price to 15-25M range. Either way we will still get him, unless we could find better (and cheaper) alternative like maybe suddenly Ganso are available for 25M... In any case, we should relax. Fans are to enjoy the summer... Board are to think and to be busy.
