Gabriel I was just thinking this myself. There's no way Slowdorf will run our offense for the season. I would have much rather Pirlo in that position. However, Hamsik, Hernanes, or Ganso or Honda would be a better fit. I can't possibly believe this article.

I believe the article. It makes sense when you consider that Seedorf held off on the renewal until he talked to Allegri. The only thing that makes sense is that Seedorf wanted to know about playing time and his role. The fact that Seedorf later signed the extention after the discussion with Allegri seems to indicate that Seedorf was told something positive related to him playing significantly.

So we took the cheap way out. Instead of signing a WC ACM, we stuck with what we had.

My only hope now is that Gattuso leaves, and I can't believe I'm saying that because he's my favorite player of all time. At this point, he's slotted in at RCM with Flamini. If Gatuso leaves, it may allow mgmt to replace him with a ACM instead of a RCM, by slliding Boateng or Seedorf to the right. We could then have:
