I'd just like a player with more experience to take the position next year, like Honda or Hernanes for example, we definitely wont get one of them with Ganso as our future superstar because his price tag is just plain and simply way too much for him especially with his injuries, wasn't he off for a while injured before this recent injury? Anyways not saying Lamela is invinsible on that matter but at least we won't be paying him 30million+ , more likely 10-15mln. They've both given lifts to their clubs when their on there game leave it at that. I'm speaking skill-wise in my opinion I just like Lamela's style of play better, Ganso strikes me the type of player who will make the ball run to his companions where as Lamela's style of play is more rushing into the box and taking on 3-4 men. But then again my love for brazilian players would see me in favour for Ganso instead of Lamela, but from what I've seen of Lamela at only 19y/o im shocked to sayy the least. Pastore of course I would take over both however it will be complicated because of Zamparinis hard head and who knows the price he'll put on him...
on another note, sort of off topic i dont want to throw off the mercato idea but its bugging me and i had to talk about it somewhere, why is pele constantly putting messi down.. He will go down as one of the greatest players to have ever lived, he's 23 years old and two golden balls already. At 23 he still hasn't reached his maximum, you cant compare todays football to peles era back in the stoneage, it makes me so nervous it must be out of grief of the idea messi may take his title .. I think the next big comparison will be Ronaldo(brazilian) vs Messi eventually once messi is retired etc etc just like now its pele maradona
Pele is a joke, if you ask me.
He might be a great player, but he also played in the best team during that era. On top of that, back at his era, players tend to just play the game instead of now, where you got teams of scouts watching each other, looking at data to see where are the weaknesses......On top of that, it was not until Germany in 74 that teams began to play a defensive approach to games. If Pele happens to be playing today, I doubt he will be as successful as he was then.
I think Messi is no doubt a better player than Pele already, and if Agrentina actually got a better coach in 2010, Messi probably won his first WC.
