About Ganso, it looks like we're going to give him up because of his new injury. It seems he'll be out for 3 months this time, and that is too much to invest 30+M, that means the guy will have been out for almost 12 months (when he'll come back) ...
ANother great talent killed by injuries ?

The fact he "shines" at a middle/small Club and not at Argentine NT do not make you guys worried?? Gillardino is the first that come to mind when I think about him. Not the same at Italy NT(HUGE pressure) as in Fiorentina. Plus, didn´t Pastore also has a cronicle problem on the knee? I read this somewhere some time ago...
Look, it´s just a way that I use to rate players from Brazil, but in the big majority of the cases, it works. Of course I´m not here saying it´s a fact that Pastore will fail, just externalizing a serious concern... IMO, a big red flag.
Thoughts?
But doesn't Messi usually fail with his NT and offers bad/average performances for Argentine despite being one of the best, if not the best, player in the world ? Same can also be said for Cristiano Ronaldo ...
IMO, games with the NT aren't that important, of course, they can give confidence to a player, of course they can show how solid mentally a player is, but they aren't a way to rate players as with NT, you play one game once a while, and you aren't used to your partners, which can be a problem. If the guys around you don't play well or your coach doesn't know you well enough to use you in your best position, there aren't many things you can do ... It's why I don't really use NT games to rate players. And I think players from clubs like Palermo or Napoli have a lot of pressure, almost as much as in the biggest Italian clubs because their fans are quite "hot" ...
Messi and Cristano didn´t produce at NT, but you forgot that they already play for a BIG team, unlike Pastore. If Pastore was playing bad at Argentine but tearing up at Bayern Munich, I would be more relaxed of to pay huge money for him. But until today he´s playing( a few) great games at Palermo. You can´t compare his case with Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi...
Regarding the second bold part, can´t agree. It´s a totaly different world. In my opinion the type of pressure can´t be compared. It happened a lot in Brazil and I believe that around the world too. The amount of great prospects that explode here at middle/small clubs playing amazing football and when are purchased by big teams like São Paulo, Santos, Corinthians fail to show the same level, is huge!
Maybe is because I don´t rate Pastore as most here, but names like Suazo, Perea, Gila came to my mind...
