I would've love Essien a few years back, but he's always injured nowadays and his not the top player he used to be, and relying on him hasn't help Chelsea's cause at all, his wages would cost a lot too. On the other hand, I can totally see us getting him, its a normal Milan buy, but I hope we don't.
And I also don't see us changing Cassano for Borriello, in the first place cause Cassano is x1000 Borriello, second cause Borriello's ego was the one that decided to leave Milan cause he didn't want to be 4th choice in order to go to Roma (just to end up being bench). Borriello I think, we'll finally sell him for good to either Genoa or Napoli (I dunno if he'll accept Napoli cause he'll be bench there too, but they need bench forwards for the CL). I doubt Cassano will be sold, nor any of our forwards will be sold unless some incredibly fantastic offer comes along.
Our priorities IMO will be LB, bench CB, and a CM or AM (someone creative for the midfield). The rest will depend on who will renew/sell/get rid of.
