Thats's one reason why club's like Chelsea and Man City and Roma were bought.Put it this way Mansour bought City for about 40 million and has spent 300 million on players and plans to spend another 200 million developing the training ground and area around the stadium.so so far as I could see he has spent about 500 million , that is alot different to buying a club like Man Utd or Milan for almost 1 billion before you spend a penny on players , and in utd's case before you pay off almost another billion in debt.
That is a reason why it is financially easier to buy clubs hovering around champions league qualification and get them for alot less than the elite teams then spend 500 million over say 4 or 5 years.You still have not spent even close to what it is to buy Utd Milan Inter Munich Barca Madrid etc.
If the owners sponsor there own club there really isnt alot UEFA can do , they are telling them how many foreign they can have how much they can spend I don't see them saying who can and cant sponsor the club.
