Well, there aren't too many great Italians either these days. Ricci may be good, but even he is not a sure thing although he is promising.
Chiesa can't even motivate himself to give his best at the best club in Premier League, so could he here? And as always, can he stay fit? Probably not.
Verratti is getting older and has been forgotten in Qatar the past couple of seasons. I have no idea how good he is anymore.
I'm all for more Italians in the team, but the most important thing is that we sign very good and talented players.
