Yea, true. Their bench is terrible. But as I said a few days ago....I don't think they ever were (or are now) class in terms of their starting line up. It's a very average squad that's performing way above their means. They are having the season of their lives after finishing 8th last season. I think they'll be back to battling for 7th place next season. Inzaghi has turned out to be a good tactician, but I'm sure even in his wildest dreams he couldn't believe they'll be fighting for the Scudetto with 8-9 games to go. This is an anomaly for sure, no matter how you slice it. Atalanta at least always played intense, great football. You could see them growing and sustaining that for several years, which they've done. But Lazio, nah.
