Sure they spend 100 M every year, like Alexis and Fabregas this year, but what kind of elephant blocking your sight to see that for years the majority of the spine of the team came from their youth academy? What are those compare to Valdes, Puyol, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro, Messi? Looks like a simple math to me.
And what is wrong with being fanboy who just started to support the team the last year or two? Anybody here declared himself a Milanista in 1996? Heck, I became a fan during the heyday of late 80s. Did that make me less a fan? Who do you think you are to judge other people's affection to their clubs?
Back then Berlu was just as greedy as Barca, buying all sorts of big names, sometimes just for the sake of buying. And it helped us dominating that era. If it's such a gross thing to you, why didn't I read your complaint about that?
