Summer mercato 2012
This just came to my mind, sort of off topic but it's funny how we were so close to having a complete world class team with ibra and silva, our main concerns being LB a midfielder and a maxi lopez replacement..

in other words converting de scgilio to LB or buying someone like balzaretti, a striker like matri to replace pazzini and a midfielder in addition to constant someone like sahin..

Now it seems like we need to rebuild a whole team.. i understand our financial difficulties and all but i've noticed the last 5-6 years we haven't been able to complete a team, when we won the CL we should've replaced just a few old players but we went and sold our best player (kaka) now when we bought robinho ibra and boateng in one mercato i was thinking here we go another dominant era coming along.. now we are back at 0, if there is one problem i have with our managment it is not that they are cheap, but they should build around what we already have that is good. Selling silva was stupidity because we bought him for nothing, we made profit but now to find and sculpt a defender into his quality is going to be difficult, then what? when he's as good as silva we sell him?

Well, if we don't want to be embarrassed anymore maybe we should get more quality players? Smile

He is just spinning the whole situation. IF you read it carefully his carefully chosen words it shows that MIlan were doing just fine, we lost due to not taking the game seriously by making 9 changes.

Bull Shit...get your act together Galliani and Bring us Sahin,Target Man and a LB
No ho visto Superman volare, ma ho visto Super Pippo segnare. I supereroi esistono davvero.
stupid for galliani to blame allegri, buy some players dude stop signing free players after you just made 70 million euros go tell berlusconi to stop being cheap if he wants to run a huge football club and go buy RVP,KAKA sahin and mbiwa.. thats what we could do with 70million euros and save some.. if our management werent so cheap and i was in charge with 70 million euros i'd make us have a more star studded line up then madrid and barca put togetherBig GrinTongue

I remeber him pretty well from Udinese, and he was very good prospect, however Villareal just got relegated..so that has to mean smth.

FUN FACTS: Lucas Moura to PSG fee €43m + €250,000 per week wages for 4 years + €9m agent fees = Total transfer cost of €100m. THE END OF THE FOOTBALL AS WE KNOW IT. I just want to know how much is Leo`s cut from that 9m agent fee.

lol, I don't know what gave you or Siregar this impression, maybe I'm suffering from memory loss or something, but I honestly can't ever remember thinking Zapata would be great for us. Big Grin

On Zapata, I won't say I ever thought he was a great defender, but like I said yesterday him and Felipe did really impress me as a partnership a couple of years ago. The player himself probably has some of the qualities we could use in the side, as he's quite physical and quick enough to recover at the back. He's also done well in Italy over the years which helps, while Allegri seems to have some belief in the player (though I got the impression from his comments he'd prefer someone else). Personally, I would say that he's probably an upgrade to Mexes and Bonera, and hopefully with Yepes already at Milan, he will settle in comfortably.

About Villareal, I'm not really sure what happened to them this season, but personally I would that in the same way Sahin's season can't really be considered, neither should Zapata's. I doubt he would suddenly lose all his ability after a season with a new team.

I don't really consider this good news. I'm pretty much don't care what happens to Juve, but Italian football does need a competitive Juve imo as right now Italy is struggling.

I think his comments are stupid and said why in the Real match thread.

I was about to post that in "Italy football" section, luckily I checked here first. Big Grin

Bonucci and Pepe were acquitted though. Also, I believe Conte (and Jube) can still appeal, can they?

I remember his injury was 18 months long, so I guess at least until December that he won't be available?
