Let's agree that both 15% and 50% are crazy made-up numbers. Icon_lol2 I honestly don't know how that can be calculated. Big Grin

I just don't feel it. We were and still are in a major financial sh*thole, and it has forced the club to move forward with younger, cheaper (which most likely mean not as good), and hopefully hungrier players. Bringing Kaka back would undo all the good (albeit painful) efforts, IMHO.

Kaka is not 35 as our senators,he is same age as cassano and a year younger than ibra.if we spend 20 mil as berlu did with r80,it's a bad bad move.but a loan move with a major paycut for a diciplined player like kaka is a good move.I also like us go for 31 years old balzarretti.

Of course I hope we can afford going for gozte or neymar, but it's very unlikely these days.

Do you think his bloodsucking father would accept a 70-80% paycut?

Actually, if the rumored 1.4M per year salary is true, that may not be bad business. Just curious what took Flamini (and his agent) to reject the 1.8M contract, then 2M contract, only to get the 1.4M one in the end.

Of course, we may not know what really happened.

It is good business for that wage, I'm just worried that the reason he resigned for so low and even resigned in the first place is because he couldn't find anywhere else to go due to being injured + being a mediocre player to begin with, noone will change my mind about flamini he is a squad player at most and nothing more (a sub) . But, what worries me is that if that's the reason he's resigned, and the reason we resigned him is because of no transfer fee + a quite low wage hence i doubt he'll have any motivation what so ever. Or maybe, the agreement was one season at 1.4m, he prooves he's a good player , or milan quality we resign him for a higher wage or maybe teams will want him with his hefty wages after some good performances next season, ugh stupid move if you tally everything i just said.

Hernanes would be a dream signing, for 15mln the player is really underrated.. i think he's above that and he'd be perfect to play anywhere in midfield trio + probably even good as cam or cf or even second striker (we play cassano, els binho as second striker a lot heck why not, he's got the pace, shooting ability and vision to add to our attack

Though my heart is still set on Strootman. would play amazing anywhere in midfield, would be a great anchor (very very similar to MVB, with more pace) + he's been played at cam at PSV many times.. versatility is key, although emmanuelson wasn't our best player last season he was a great great utility player, anywhere you put him he'd do the job.

Montolivo really impressed me against England as well, something to look forward to already i think hes miles ahead of aquilani althought i would've much rather have signed aquilani then flamini.. If aquilani being injury prone was a reason to not sign him, what about flamini? He's been out for almost a year .. surely that'll have an effect on his general fitness through out the course of the season

Kaka would not take a major paycut. He has no obligation to do so for us. Plus, even with a paycut, Italian Taxes mean that even if he was paid 4.5 Mil, the club would have to shell out 9 Mil for him per year.
They are not going to do it, simple as that.

Balzaretti would be a good option, as I feel he could come in for us and produce good football for the next two years (like Oddo and Jankulovski previously).

As for Gozte or Neymar, those are dream signings, and will remain as such.

Suitable targets for discussion would probably be Strootman and Sahin (on loan).

And whats this about Galliani wanting to throw away Didac Vila to buy Balzaretti? Thats just utterly preposterous!
We got the young 'un's. We take out big gunz  Devilcool

In some way,we should thank him! kaka is never who he was,and we cash in on him for a huge amount of money.no better deal than that from business perspective.Devilcool

and why the hell he comes to milan for negotiation if he won't accept a paycut, the question is how much percentage he can accept I think.flamini just accepted a over 60% paycut though.

I really don't know why some of you are saying Kaka is a medicore player while if he comes to Milan today, he is already by far the most creative, offensive along with the best dribbler midfielder in Milan. So if he is indeed medicore, then the whole midfield of Milan must be crap. He might not be the top 5 players in the world like he was a few yrs ago, but he is still a top 25 mids in the world and a top 10 mids in Serie A.
Of course if your reason is his wages are too high and his transfer fees are too much....thats fair, but don't ever say Kaka is a medicore player today. He played a pretty big part in Real win last season, esp., in the second half. With WC2014 coming in two yrs, you can bet that he will be aiming to get back to his best by then.
THe Flamini deal, I am sure Flamini is gambling on playing well in a big club for a yr and earning a big multi-year contract next summer. Which will actually work well for Milan, heck, if he is indeed playing great, Milan should sell him in Jan for a quick few mils.

Kaka just want play time and a team that would someone give him that. Then when you look at all the big clubs going to be in CL next season, only Milan and Dortmund would want someone like Kaka.

If it is up to me, as much as it hurts me to say, I don't think Kaka should come back b/c both him and Ibra can't exist together and it will cause problem. Simply b/c I can see that Kaka-Pato-Robinho playing well together, while I can also see Ibra-Cassano playing well together, but really can't Kaka-Ibra-Cassano.
Bad news of the day : It is reported Thiago Silva asks for the same contract as what PSG offered him (7.5M a year for 5 years) ... And it could be a problem for Galliani.

Knowing how important he is for us, we should accept ... But the reports say we could refuse such a big contract and as a consequence, deal again with PSG. But do PSG want to deal with us ? I think they don't, but for the best defender of the planet, they could easily try to take their revenge by buying him at a lower price than what was expected in the last 2 weeks.

PS : Abate could be renewed too, from 1.7 to 2.5M a year firstly, and then 4M a year ...
One should not speak ill of the dead.
So stop laughing at Juventus !

6 mil is smth that Thiago deserves (at least thats what the market indicates for the best defender in the world) and im quite sure that Galliani nad Silvio are aware that they will not be keeping their best player under that amount of money. Now if the difference of 1.5 million is a problem than they should not have signed Flamini, and they would have had the money Thiago Silva deserves.

All our best players at their peak earned around 6 mil. Pirlo, Nesta, Kaka, Gattuso, Mladini,Sheva, Pippo...so this should not come as a great surprise to any of us.

No ho visto Superman volare, ma ho visto Super Pippo segnare. I supereroi esistono davvero.
