Arda Turan is a great player and I am sure money isn't an issue for Barcelona who just won 3 trophies this season. Once Arda starts playing for them, I'm sure everyone will forget how much he costs. People, including myself, thought the Suarez transfer was madness and look how important he turned out to be. I can see why they would want a player like him. He provides grit and defensive quality without sacrificing the technical side of the game. Probably the same reason why they wanted Pogba, except Turan is 28 and Pogba is 22.

But does that mean Barcelona will give up on Pogba? Crazy team. Where do they get all the money all the year? While Milan fans complained about our club not spending at all, Farca paid more than 100 million on Neymar and lied to the fans that he didn't cost them that much.

Gareth Bale asks Francesco Totti to sign his shirt

He may be the most expensive footballer in history, but it would appear that Gareth Bale isn't above getting a little starstruck now and then.

With Bale's Real Madrid playing Roma in the International Champions Cup in Melbourne on Saturday evening, the Welshman went out of his way to snag the autograph of one of his footballing idols, Giallorossi legend Francesco Totti, after the game.

The pair swapped shirts after the final whistle but Bale wasn't finished there after deciding that this would be a great opportunity to have Totti add his signature to his sweat-drenched memento.

In fact, Bale did his autograph hunting the old fashioned way -- by loitering outside the Roma dressing room until his hero emerged.

Mission accomplished.

All things said and done, it actually shows Bale as quite a grounded and normal person. The fact he went out of his way to get an autograph is like a sign of humility and respect.

Twas an excellent match by Bilbao. Their pressing was something to marvel as they gave Barcelona no time on the ball whatsoever. If the entire full team had played then perhaps they would have been able to more easily cope with the press but the major rotation certainly hurt them. Not to mention that they played 120 minutes on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning in Georgia and had to travel for Friday's match.
