I hope Gimenez just needs some more time to settle in because his movements, ball control and passing are terrible. Really happy he scored today though

We looked pretty bad and uninspired. Another cleans heet though and a grinding win for 3 points. We could have used more of these throughout the season. Dropped too many points in games like today's, so I'll take it as a positive (the fact that we didn't today).

Individually on the players, here's what stood out to me...
1) The bad
-Leao: Not sure he can even get past a cone in 1v1 situations currently. He seems completely out of form and out of sorts. Stops every attack by stepping on the ball and slowing everything down. From that point on, it's a loss of possession almost every time and the attacks result in nothing.
-Gimenez: I know he scored a goal. But prior to that, it was one of the worst individual performances from a player this whole season. EVERYTHING that he attempted, he got wrong
-RLC: mainly in this list because of his selfish decision to take a shot (sky high) when he had 2 players completely free in the box. We were in a real imagery of conceding and this was an opportunity to kill the game. And he could have cost us 2 points.

2) The good....not sure a whole lot was good, but I'd single out Fofana and Reijnders. I love that Reijnders played that ball to Gimenez from the free kick at the end. Most players wpuld just play that back and try to waste time. So i thought it showed great vision and craft to jist go for the jugular. Pulisic was also good and very involved throughout. The back 3 were fine imo. Pavlovic struggled in those 1v1 situations against a quick winger....but that was a tactical shortfall from Conceicao and Theo. Pavlovic should have not been in those situations to begin with. No CB should be.
