Should I be more excited? Maybe, I don't know. The guy turns 40 in under 2 months.

Pirlo was 32 when he joined Juve.

I prefer not to have high expectations for him and take everything he can give us as a bonus.

That said, he's been one of the best midfielders in the world the past couple of decades and nobody can take that away from him. He's had a fantastic career.
