I don't know why I am not 100% on Gabbia. He won't be a good defender in near future but I am sure this guy will bloom late in his career but not now, its just what my gut feeling says about him similar to Barzagli and Acerbi.

If he eventually goes on to play 73 matches for Italy, wins 8 Serie A titles and 4 times in Serie A Team of the Year like Barzagli, then I'll be happy for him.

He's a great servant to the club. A Milan fan through and through and apparently for generations. Of course, that doesn't matter a whole lot if someone has no quality. But I've always thought Gabbia was good enough to be at least the 4th choice here.

It was a pointless loan really that proved beneficial to nobody. Gabbia is now 24 so either you keep him in the squad or sell him outright. A loan at his age made no sense.
