I'm not sure if it's a little too early to open this thread, seeing as it wont be 100% official until he signs his contract in January. Frankly though, its a 99% shut deal and he'll also be training at Milanello from now, rather than staying with Valencia which makes it seem a lot more official. SO, my welcomes go out to Rami, let's hope he can fix our stupid defense, I have high hopes for him

Is having two Mexes better than one Mexes? From what I've seen of him, he's just as inconsistent and temperamental as his French counterpart.

Most defenders would be an improvement over Zapata though, his current form is just unacceptable.

Milan continues to dilute the great name by getting a free signing of another troublemaker. When will we learn? He will get in a row with Allegri or will just give up like the rest of the CB group because money is his motive and not the crest. Either way, I am not too optimistic about this signing.

anyone would be better than Zapata, and that should include our youngsters. knowing Allegri, however, I know that he wouldn't even dare to try.

Maybe I jinxed the transfer by making this thread prematurely, but ffs it seems he has a medical issue so the transfer might not go through (milannews).

That said, I really want him to come. France only qualified for the last international competitions on the back of his great defensive displays. I think he lost something at Valencia (or maybe its true and its his teammates faults), but I think that he can still play at a consistently high level for at least another three years.
Plus, with his frame, he'll be way harder to get around than Zapata.

Not to worry, seems everything as been given the OK now. Apparently he was carrying a small injury but it was nothing serious so medical staff gave it the go ahead.
