It’s worth noting that Traore is eight years older than Niang and also worth wondering just how long the new signing was hoping to fool the authorities.

It is because he is still young which makes it should be taken seriously by Milan. If a young player makes mistake on the field, it is a normal thing but not such Niang did.
He drove without licence and what worst is showing papers which aim to tell the police that he is Traore.
Already many talents fail to make impact in high level competition even the very talents one if they do not have right mentality.

I do agree with you. I guess what I meant was that he is young (hence immature) so crazy things can happen. That seems to be like a typical teenager problem.
It is not like that he can't change (if he was old enough, then he probably couldn't), and certainly he needs to know that whatever he does bears consequences, and he will be punished for his wrong-doing. I just do not want a potential young players turns to be Adriano.
If Niang messes up his career with Milan, I doubt he would success in other place.

Niang has apparently admitted to his mistake on twitter and pretty much apologised to everyone he could. He also stressed he never claimed to be Traore.
tbh, I read the story and found it pretty funny, but he should be punished. If in Traore's shoes and I found out he tried to impersonate me, I'd probably just laugh, as there's no way he'd get away with it
