I still haven't understood why did we buy CDK, where did we plan to use him: as CF, LW, RW, or CAM (sometimes CM, even DM), when the best position for him is SS and we didn't plan to change the formation for him.
Jashari is the type who can play in all popular formation, the success is due to his abilities and the competitive of his team & league, a plus is he has a Milan heart.

CdK's failure was so extraordinary that it is mind-boggling. He certainly has the talent but Pioli wasn't keen (or, skilled) to take advantage of that. Missing a full pre-season (he still scored a hat-trick in one such friendly, irrc) certainly was a factor, but still, it is hard to explain how comprehensive his failure was with us. Really, really bad luck is one. He scored twice (including one against Udinese in the season opener) but both were incorrectly ruled off--no one would expect that he would never score again. He also only recorded ONE assist, I think. The statistic is certainly pathetic.
CdK's mentality certainly is also kind of weak, and you can see that from his body language later on. Pioli probably never figured out a proper way to use him in the first place, and after giving him plenty of chances during the first half of the season, later decided to simply give up on him, and that was just devastating for a young kid. I wonder at that time if the management was already thinking of offloading him, or if they were just trying to take pressure off him and saving him for the next season (I didn't expect him to leave right after that).
Plus, what the hell was this??
