At 23 even Stam wasn't the Stam we know.
He played for Cambuur Leeuwarden and was relegated from Eredivisie and then moving to Willem II. Before moving to PSV the next year and then his career took off when he was 24-25.
So why compare a 23 year old Pavlovic to prime Stam? That's not fair.
Give Pavlovic time and then we'll see. And even if he doesn't turn out to be a "new Stam", he can still be good.

All I’m saying is that he looks like a mean mf just like Stam. Not sure if they play the same way, I still dont know much about Pavlovic

Exciting signing IMO. The guy is so clean with the ball at his feet for such a big figure. This could be our signing of the season by end of year. Moneys on him or Fofana to really impress.

I hope you are right. I haven't seen him play at all (even when he played against us, I wasn't paying attention), but some has voiced concerns that his physical playing style may get him in a lot of trouble in Italy (as he adapts).
Regardless, we definitely needed tall central defenders. Mike Maignan for sure would appreciate that.
