Woohoo!!!! This is our most exciting signing so far. I honestly think, and have for a while, that he's got the potential to become one of the best LB in the world, 2nd only to Marcelo who seems to keep getting better and better

Did u guys see Ricardo Rodrigues in his last match for switzerland? This guy was bursting forward at will, almost like a winger. I couldnt believe it was same guy I was watching
I think lack of competition & the fact that some players, no matter how poorly they play, are sure of starting, has made many of our usual starters lazy.

Ricardo Rodriguez is not experiencing an easy season in Milan , having lost the starting spot in favor of Theo Hernandez. But the Swiss had not convinced even in the two previous years, in which the performance was below expectations.
The former Wolfsburg is also back from a penalty kick missed in the last match played with Switzerland. His national team still won 2-0 against Ireland, but Rodriguez could close the accounts first by scoring from 11 meters. Obviously you happen to miss a penalty, he is certainly not the first to whom an error happens.
Gianluca Di Domenico , Rodriguez agent, in the past few hours has posted on Instagram a photo that shows him and the player adding a message. He wanted to defend his client from some criticism and to reiterate his value as a left-back. Here are the words of the prosecutor:
« Milan direction ???⚫️⚽️ after two games with the Swiss national team ??⚽️ where you were as always among the best in the field. You have made so many goals for Switzerland, with your penalties and a save on the goal line you brought it to the World Cup in Russia! Even the best in the world miss a penalty. Di Domenico spent words of praise for Rodriguez , pointing him out as one of the world tops in his role. At Milan, unfortunately, his performance was not at the highest level. Not that the rest of the team did sparkle, but expectations were different when it came from Wolfsburg in summer 2017.
